Retrospective Analysis Of The Clinical Efficacy Of Modified Shenqidihuang Decoction Combined With Taohechengqi Decoction In Treating Kidney Deficiency And Blood Stasis Syndrome In Chronic Kidney Disease

Objective:This retrospective study aims to observe and compare the clinical efficacy before and after treatment with modified Shenqidihuang Decoction combined with Taohechengqi Decoction in treating Kidney Deficiency and Blood Stasis Syndrome in CKD patients,and to explore the therapeutic effects of Chinese medicinal decoctions on this type of CKD.Method: This study collected data of 210 patients with CKD of the kidney deficiency and blood stasis type who had received outpatient treatment at Kangyuantang and the First Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine between January 2016 and December 2021.The patients were divided into a control group of 105 cases and a treatment group of 105 cases based on whether they received the combination of Shenqidihuang Decoction and Taohechengqi Decoction.The treatment group was given Shenqi Dihuang Decoction combined with Taohe Chengqi decoction;The control group was given Shenshuaining capsule and Jinshuibao capsule.The treatment course of both groups was 4 weeks.The changes in TCM syndrome score and laboratory indicators,such as serum creatinine(Scr),Urea(Urea),glomerular filtration rate(GFR),uric acid(UA),total cholesterol(TC),and hemoglobin(Hb),before and after treatment were compared,and statistical analyses were performed using SPSS.Results:1.There were no significant differences in gender,age,CKD stage,TCM syndrome scores,and laboratory indicators such as Scr,Urea,and estimated glomerular filtration rate(e GFR)between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05),indicating comparability.2.The differences in the data before and after treatment of Scr,Urea,e GFR,UA,TC,and Hb within both groups were extremely statistically significant(P<0.01),indicating that both treatment plans were effective.The results of the data comparison between the two groups showed that there were extremely significant statistical differences in improving the indicators of Scr,e GFR,UA,TC,and Hb in the treatment group(P<0.01),indicating better efficacy in the treatment group.There was no significant difference in improving Urea between the two groups(P>0.05),indicating similar efficacy in improving Urea between the two treatment plans.3.The differences in the TCM syndrome scores and the data before and after treatment of kidney and lumbar soreness,dark and dull complexion,edema,systemic weakness,skin cracks,limb numbness,diarrhea,and nocturia before and after treatment within both groups were extremely statistically significant(P<0.01),indicating that both treatment plans were effective.The results of the data comparison between the two groups showed that there were significant statistical differences in improving kidney and lumbar soreness,dark and dull complexion,edema,systemic weakness,skin cracks,limb numbness,diarrhea,and nocturia in the treatment group(P<0.05),indicating better efficacy in the treatment group for the above TCM syndrome.4.After treatment,the clinical effective rate was 86.7% in the control group and 95.2% in the treatment group.In terms of TCM syndrome efficacy,the effective rate was 56.2% in the control group and 96.2% in the treatment group.Both groups had certain efficacy in clinical and TCM syndrome aspects,and the treatment group was superior to the control group with statistical significance(P<0.05).5.No significant adverse reactions were observed in either group,and there were no significant statistical differences in the data before and after treatment of alanine transaminase(ALT)and aspartate transaminase(AST)(P>0.05),indicating that the selected drugs in the both groups were safe.Conclusion:1.Modified Shenqidihuang Decoction combined with Taohechengqi Decoction has significant clinical efficacy in improving clinical indicators such as Scr,Urea,e GFR,UA,TC,and Hb in CKD patients,with better efficacy compared to the combination of Shenshuaining Capsulee and Jingshuibao Capsules.2.Modified Shenqidihuang Decoction combined with Taohechengqi Decoction has significant efficacy in treating Kidney Deficiency and Blood Stasis Syndrome in CKD patients,with better efficacy in improving individual TCM symptoms such as lumbago,knee weakness,dark complexion,edema,generalized weakness,dry,scaly skin,numbness,diarrhea,and nocturia compared to the combination of Shenshuaining Capsulee and Jingshuibao Capsules.3.Modified Shenqidihuang Decoction combined with Taohechengqi Decoction has no significant adverse reactions during treatment,making it a safe and effective treatment.
