Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Faediatric Adenoid Hypertrophy (Qi-blood Stasis Type) With The Huayu Tongqiao Prescription

Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Huayu Tongqiao prescription on adenoid hypertrophy of Qi and blood stasis in children,and to analyze and summarize the therapeutic effect.Methods:A total of 60 children aged 3 to 8 years old with adenoid hypertrophy of qi and blood stasis were selected from the otolaryngology Department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine from December 2021 to December 2022.Subjects were randomly divided into treatment group and control group with 30 cases in each group.The treatment group received Huayu Tongqiao Decoction,and the control group received Xuefu Zhuyu Capsule.The treatment lasted for 14 days as a course of 2 courses.TCM syndrome single score,adenoid volume score and clinical total score were calculated before treatment,14 days and 28 days,respectively.spss25.0 software was used for statistical analysis,and the data were listed and explained.Results:1.After 28 days of treatment,the total effective rate of the treatment group was higher than that of the control group,89.66%and 62.07%respectively,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).2.After treatment,all the points of Chinese medicine symptoms of the children in both groups improved compared with those before treatment(P<0.05),and the efficacy of 28 days of treatment was better than that of 14 days of treatment(P<0.05).3.After 14 days and 28 days of treatment,except for cough(P>0.05),there was no statistical difference between the two groups,and the treatment group was better than the control group in improving symptoms of nasal congestion,snoring during sleep,open mouth breathing,ear stuffiness,runny nose,cough and enlarged tonsils(P<0.05).4.The adenoid volume in both groups was improved compared with that before treatment(P<0.05),and the treatment group was better than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Huayu Tongqiao Formula is superior to Xuefu Zhuyu capsule in the treatment of children with adenoid hypertrophy of Qi and blood stasis.2.There is no significant difference between Huayu Tongqiao recipe and Xuefu Zhuyu capsule in improving the cough symptoms of children with adenoid hypertrophy of Qi and blood stasis type.
