Objective:Blood oxygen level-dependent functional magnetic resonance imaging,Bold-fMRI,was used to observe the respective brain function activation areas of Guangming and Yangfu during acupuncture tasks, respectively. The brain activation areas of the task state and the resting state of the two acupoints were compared and studied. To investigate whether there is a difference in brain effects caused by acupuncture in the same meridian and different acupoints in the same meridian, and the similarities and differences in the distribution of brain activation areas in the two acupoints and their clinical treatment characteristics were discussed. Methods:Seventeen right-handed healthy volunteers who met the trial criteria were randomly selected as subjects, and Philips’ 3.0T dual-source dual-gradient magnetic resonance scanner was used as the test equipment to collect brain Bold-fMRI signal data of acupuncture Guangming point and Yangfu acupoint before and after resting state and task state when twisting needle. The experimental data were processed and statistically analyzed by using the DPASFA,XJVIEW,SPM12 and other related software, and finally obtained the corresponding voxel values and differences in the brain activation area of acupuncture Guangming point and yangfu acupoint. The ALLF value of the resting state difference brain area after acupuncture of the Guangming point and the Yangfu point was obtained.Results:1.Acupuncture the brain activation area at Guangming point: the positive activation area includes the left cerebellum, the left suboccipital gyrus, the right lingual gyrus(BA18),the left middle temporal gyrus, the right insula, the left middle occipital gyrus(BA19),and the left superior limbic gyrus(BA40);negative activation includes the right caudate.2.Acupuncture at Yangfu point activates brain areas: positive activation includes left cerebellum, left middle temporal gyrus, right insula, right posterior central gyrus, left superior marginal gyrus, right precentral gyrus(BA6),negative Activation of the bilateral dorsolateral superior frontal gyrus(BA9),the cortex around the left fissure, and the right precuneus.3.Acupuncture at Guangming point vs.Yangfu point differentially activates brain areas: positive activation includes right cerebellum, right dorsolateral superior frontal gyrus, left middle occipital gyrus, left lingual gyrus, and right lingual gyrus(BA18)Bilateral middle temporal gyrus, cortex around the right talar fissure, and left precuneus. There were no obvious deactivated brain regions.4.After acupuncture at Guangming point and Yangfu point, compare and compare the changes of ALLF value in resting state: the brain area with increased ALLF value is the right cerebellum, the left middle frontal gyrus(BA10),and the bilateral superior occipital gyrus(BA19);ALLF The brain regions with decreased values were left inferior temporal gyrus, left parahippocampal gyrus(BA36),right hippocampus, left insula, and left paracentral lobule(BA6).Conclusion:1.Acupuncture of Guangming acupoint can activate multiple brain functional areas related to visual and biliary meridian lesions, suggesting that Guangming acupoint may exert synergistic effects by stimulating multiple brain regions that are highly related to its clinical treatment to treat diseases.2.Acupuncture of Yangfu acupoint can activate multiple brain function areas related to migraine, flank pain, and lower limb motor function abnormalities, suggesting that Yangfu acupoint may play a role by regulating the brain area function related to the main treatment.3.By comparing the task states of acupuncture Guangming acupoint and Yangfu acupoint,it is found that the brain response produced by acupuncture of different acupoints with similar positions in the same meridian is not completely consistent, and it is speculated that this difference may be one of the reasons why different acupuncture points have different focus on the treatment direction.4.The comparison of the resting state after acupuncture of Guangming acupoint and Yangfu acupoint proves that the post-acupuncture effect of different acupuncture points is still different, which reflects the specificity of acupuncture points.
