| Objective:Application of extracorporeal shock wave combined with modified Juanbi Tang in the treatment of wind-cold-dampness type low back myofascitis, and observation of the clinical efficacy of the combined therapy,so as to provide a new idea for treatment of wind-cold-dampness type of low back myofascitis. Methods:A total of 68 patients with wind-cold-dampness type of low back myofascitis who were diagnosed and treated in the First Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine between January 2022 and February 2023 and met the diagnostic criteria of this study were selected for this study. In this study,a randomized controlled trial was conducted and the sample of 68 cases was randomly divided into treatment and control groups, with 34 cases in each group. The patients in the treatment group were treated with extracorporeal shock wave combined with modified Juanbi Tang;the control group was treated with manipulation combined with modified Juanbi Tang. Each subject participated in the entire clinical treatment for a total of 4 weeks. The efficacy of the subjects was evaluated according to the visual analog score(VAS),dysfunctional questionnaire(RMDQ),dysfunctional index(ODI)score,TCM evidence score and clinical efficacy.Results:1.The final cases included in the analysis of this experiment were 32 cases in the treatment group(2 case dropped off)and 32 cases in the control group(2 case dropped off). There were no statistical differences in gender, age, disease duration, visual analog score(VAS),functional impairment questionnaire(RMDQ),functional impairment index(ODI),and TCM syndrome score between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).2.Clinical efficacy:The treatment group’s overall effective rate was 87.50%whereas the control group’s overall effective rate was 71.88%.The treatment group’s overall effective rate outperformed the control group’s,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.VAS score:After the conclusion of therapy, patients’ VAS ratings fell in both the treatment and control groups, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Following therapy, the treatment group saw a greater decline in scores than the control group, and this difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).4.RMDQ score:After the conclusion of therapy, patients’ RMDQ ratings fell in both the treatment and control groups, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Following therapy, the treatment group saw a greater decline in scores than the control group, and this difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).5.ODI score:After the conclusion of therapy, patients’ ODI ratings fell in both the treatment and control groups, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Following therapy, the treatment group saw a greater decline in scores than the control group, and this difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).6.TCM syndrome scores:After the conclusion of therapy, patients’ TCM ratings fell in both the treatment and control groups, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Following therapy, the treatment group saw a greater decline in scores than the control group, and this difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:1.Extracorporeal shock wave combined with modified Juanbi Tang can effectively treat patients with wind-cold-damp ness type of low back myofascitis.2.The treatment effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.3.The combination of extracorporeal shock wave and modified Juanbi Tang therapy is easy to operate and safe in clinical practice, and is worth promoting in the clinic. |
