| Obj ective:To observe the therapeutic effect of collateral needling at Sanjian and Anterior Shoulder point on the treatment of increased muscle tone in the upper limbs after stroke, and to compare the clinical efficacy with that of conventional acupuncture, providing a new method for the clinical diagnosis and treatment of increased muscle tone after stroke.Methods:66 patients were divided into a treatment group and a control group by random number table method. Both groups of patients were treated with basic drug therapy, basic rehabilitation therapy, scalp acupuncture, and body acupuncture. The treatment group was treated with collateral needling at Sanjian and anterior shoulder point, while the control group was treated with ordinary acupuncture. One time a day,30 minutes for each time, acupuncture and moxibustion for 6 days,1-day rest,7 days as a course of treatment,a total of 4 courses. The curative effect was evaluated based on the scores of patients’ spasticity measurement(MAS),limb motor function measurement(FMA),and ability of daily living(ADL)before and after treatment.Results:1.The gender, age, and course of disease of the two groups of patients were statistically analyzed, and there was no statistical difference(P>0.05),which was comparable.2.After treatment, before and after treatment, the MAS level of the two groups decreased, the FM A score and ADL score increased, statistical analysis results showed that P<0.05,the difference was statistically significant, indicating that the two acupuncture methods were effective in the treatment of this disease.3.After treatment,MAS grade,FMA score, and ADL score were statistically significant between the treatment group and control group(P<0.05).It showed that the curative effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.4.After the treatment,3 cases were cured,6 were effective,12 were improved,10 were ineffective, and the total effective rate was 67.74%.In the treatment group,8 cases were cured,12 were effective,8 were improved,4 were effective,8 were improved,4 were ineffective, and the total effective rate was 87.50%.The results showed a significant difference(P<0.05),indicating that the therapeutic effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.Conclusion:1.Both the collateral needling and conventional acupuncture groups could reduce the upper limb’s muscle tone group after apoplexy to varying degrees.2.Compared with the conventional acupuncture group, the collateral needling group could improve the spasticity, exercise function, and daily living ability of patients, and was better than the conventional acupuncture group. |
