Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Inflammatory External Hemorrhoids(Damp-heat Betting Type) With Seven Herbs Anti-swelling Ointment

Objective:The clinical efficacy of Seven Herbs Anti-Swelling Ointment on inflammatory external hemorrhoids(damp-heat betting type)was observed,with a view to providing a simple and efficient treatment method for the clinic.Methods:Sixty-four patients who were diagnosed with inflammatory external hemorrhoids(damp-heat betting type)attending the Department of Anorectal Medicine of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine were selected and divided into two groups using the random number table method.The test group was treated with Seven Herbs Anti-swelling Ointment applied externally to the affected area,while the control group was treated with Ma Yinglong Musk Hemorrhoid Ointment applied externally to the affected area,both in a course of 7 days.Anal pain(Visual Analogue Scale(VAS)),swelling sensation,edema and perianal dampness and itching were evaluated before and on the 1st,4th and 7th day after treatment,and their total efficacy was assessed respectively.Relevant data were collected and SPSS 25.0 was used for statistical analysis of the data to evaluate the clinical efficacy of Seven Herbs Anti-swelling Ointment in the treatment of inflammatory external hemorrhoids(damp-heat betting type).Results:1.In the general data of the test group and the control group,there was no significant difference between the two groups in terms of gender,age and duration of disease,and the balance of all indicators was good and comparable.2.The anal pain,swelling,edema and perianal dampness and itching scores of the patients in the test group were lower than those in the control group at 1 day,4 days and 7 days of treatment in both groups,and the scores of the indexes in both groups were statistically significant(P<0.05),and the test group was better than the control group,indicating that the therapeutic effect of Seven Herbs Anti-swelling Ointment was better than that of Ma Yinglong Musk Hemorrhoid Ointment in inflammatory external hemorrhoids.3.After 7 days of continuous use(1 course of treatment),the effective rate of the test group was 90.63%,which was better than that of the control group(78.13%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that the test group was better than the control group,and the overall efficacy of Seven Herbs Anti-swelling Ointment in treating inflammatory external hemorrhoids was more obvious.Conclusions:1.Seven Herbs Anti-Swelling Ointment can effectively treat inflammatory external hemorrhoids(damp-heat betting type),with overall efficacy better than that of Ma Yinglong Musk Hemorrhoid Ointment.2.Seven Herbs Anti-Swelling Ointment can effectively relieve anal pain,swelling,oedema and perianal itching of inflammatory external hemorrhoids(damp-heat betting type),and is more effective than Ma Yinglong Musk Hemorrhoid Ointment.
