Objective:To investigate the current situation of mental health,crisis frangibility,social support and coping style of medical staff in a third-class hospital in Xinjiang,analyze the impact of crisis frangibility,social support and coping style on their mental health,and explore the relationship between crisis frangibility,social support and coping style and mental health.To provide reference for the formulation of measures to improve the level of mental health of medical staff.Methods: Using convenient sampling method,583 medical staff were selected from a third-grade grade A hospital in Xinjiang.Using the Kessler Psychological Distress Scale(Kessler10),"crisis frangibility" questionnaire,Social support Rating Scale(SSRS),Trait Coping style questionnaire(TCSQ)and other research tools to investigate their mental health,crisis frangibility,social support and coping style.Epidata3.1 software was used to establish a database for data entry,and SPSS 23.0 statistical software was used for data analysis.Results:(1)Mental health status: Among 583 medical workers included in the study,the score of mental health was20.0(16.0,25.0),among which 29.5% were in level 1,49.1% were in level 2,18.3% were in level 3,and 3.1% were in level 4.According to the mental health assessment standard,Those who scored at levels 3 and 4 were considered to have mental health problems,meaning 21.4 per cent of health care workers had low mental health;Female,30~49 years old,nurses,average monthly income of 3001~5000 yuan,junior title are the factors affecting the mental health of medical staff.(2)Current situation of crisis frangibility: The scores of crisis frangibility of medical staff were 12.0(8.0,15.0)points,among which6.0% were below 5 points,35.0% were between 5 and 10 points,34.6% were between 11 and 15 points,and 24.4% were greater than or equal to 16 points.According to the assessment standard of crisis frangibility,Medical staff with scores greater than or equal to16 points were considered to be psychologically vulnerable,that is,the detection rate of crisis frangibility was 24.4%.Age of 30~39years old,bachelor’s degree,graduate degree or above,occupation as nurse and junior professional title were the factors influencing the detection rate of crisis frangibility of medical staff.(3)Social support: The social support score of medical staff was 35.0(31.0,39.0)points,in which the number of patients with low social support level accounted for 5.0%,the number of patients with medium social support level accounted for 78.2%,and the number of patients with high social support level accounted for 16.7%.The overall social support of medical staff was at an above average level.Gender,marital status,highest education level and working years had significant effects on the social support of medical staff.(4)Coping style: the positive coping dimension score of medical staff coping style was 36.0(30.0,40.0)points,the negative coping dimension score was 23.0(16.0,30.0)points;Gender and age had significant effects on the positive coping of medical staff,while the highest education and department had significant effects on the negative coping of medical staff.(5)Correlation analysis: The crisis frangibility,social support and coping style of medical staff were all related to their mental health(P<0.05).Among them,crisis frangibility and negative coping were positively correlated with the total score of mental health.Social support and positive coping were negatively correlated with overall mental health scores.Negative coping was positively correlated with the total score of crisis frangibility;Positive coping and social support were negatively correlated with crisis frangibility.Positive coping was positively correlated with social support,while negative coping was negatively correlated with social support.Conclusion: Hospitals should pay more attention to the mental health of medical staff,regularly screen and evaluate the psychological status of medical staff,timely discover problems and conduct professional psychological counseling;Form a relatively complete family,hospital and social diversified support system,so that they can get enough social support,train their ability to solve problems,reduce the negative coping tendency,improve the positive coping ability of medical staff,so as to reduce the risk of mental illness. |
