Retrospective Study Of Modified Injection In The Treatment Of Moderate And Severe Interglabella Lines In Women

Background: Skin aging is a normal physiological process,mainly manifested by the formation of facial wrinkles,and intereyebrow lines are the most common facial wrinkles.Traditional treatment methods mainly use injection and filling,but there are still some problems such as unsatisfactory effects in some cases,especially for moderate and severe cases,which cannot maintain long-term effects.Therefore,to further improve the existing injection technology to achieve a more stable and reliable therapeutic effect is the objective needs of clinical treatment of interglabella wrinkles.Objective: In this study,we proposed an improved personalized injection method and applied it to moderate and severe intereyebrow lines,in order to evaluate its therapeutic effect,in order to propose a more stable and reliable scheme for the clinical treatment of moderate and severe intereyebrow lines.Methods: Female patients with moderate to severe intereyebrow lines were selected from September 2020 to January 2022.Traditional injection method and improved injection method were used for intervention comparison.In each treatment,botulinum toxin alone or botulinum toxin combined with hyaluronic acid was used as a filler.Therefore,48 cases were randomly divided into 4 groups with 12 people in each group,which were group A: traditional method single botulinum toxin,group B: modified method single botulinum toxin.Group C: traditional botox combined with hyaluronic acid,group D: improved botox combined with hyaluronic acid.Follow-up for 9 months after treatment was conducted to evaluate the treatment effect,complications,durability of treatment,satisfaction and other indicators.Results: The effective rate of improved injection was better than that of traditional injection(41.67%,83.33%,P<0.05),the score of wrinkle severity decreased after treatment(traditional method 3.29±1.59,modified method 1.96±1.31,P<0.05),and the effect of improved injection lasted longer(time persistence rate: traditional method 21%,modified method 62.5%,P<0.05).There was no difference in the treatment of complications between the two groups.The improved injection method had higher satisfaction(patient satisfaction score: 4.67±1.31 with traditional method and 5.42±1.00 with improved method,P<0.05).Conclusion: For moderate and severe eyebrow lines,whether using botox alone or using botox combined with hyaluronic acid,the modified injection has better and more lasting and stable effect on wrinkle removal than the traditional method.Moreover,the modified method is safe and suitable for further promotion in clinic.
