| Objective:To summarize the characteristics of infectious diseases in neurosurgery patients, evaluate the effect of clinical pharmacists participating in the intervention of infection consultation in neurosurgery, and provide reference for the empirical medication, clinical infection diagnosis and treatment of neurosurgery patients in the future.A case of infection involving clinical pharmacists in neurosurgery was selected to analyze the relevant points of consultation by clinical pharmacists,so as to provide evidence-based medical evidence for rational drug use and improvement of consultation quality.Method:461 cases of patients with infectious diseases who participated in neurosurgery consultation by clinical pharmacists from the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University from January 2019 to December 2021 were recruited.Basic information of infected patients, changes of infection indexes before and after consultation, infection sites were analyzed. As well as the purpose of consultation, the type of consultation opinion, whether to adopt the opinion and the prognosis after the consultation, the Excel table was designed for statistical analysis;A patient invited for clinical consultation was selected to carry out pharmaceutical care, and the changes of the patient’s condition before and after the consultation were analyzed,so as to provide reference for better implementation of pharmaceutical care. Results:Among the 461 cases included in this study,299 cases were male(64.9%)and 162 cases were female(35.1%).Lung infection was the most common site of infection, and Gram-negative bacilli were the main pathogens.According to the consultation mode of our hospital,395 cases(85.7%)were all accepted. There were 259 cases of improvement in all cases and 38 cases of improvement in part, with a composition ratio of 64.4%.Comparative data analysis of infection indexes of patients before and after consultation showed that infection indexes of patients after consultation decreased significantly, and there were statistically significant differences in body temperature, white blood cells(WBC),percentage of neutrophil granulocyte(N%),C-reactive protein(CRP),creatinine and urea nitrogen levels before and after consultation(P<0.05).A case of neurosurgical infection attended by clinical pharmacists was hospitalized for 18 days. The patient was discharged with normal body temperature,WBC,N%,PCT of inflammation were all in the normal range, and CRP and serum amyloid A(SAA)were all decreased. Conclusions:According to the characteristics of infectious diseases in neurosurgery, clinical pharmacists can provide clinical pharmaceutical care for patients with neurosurgery infection, which can effectively improve the clinical therapeutic effect and the safety and effectiveness of clinical rational drug use.We should pay more attention to the consultation of clinical pharmacists and improve the consultation quality of clinical pharmacists so as to further provide good pharmaceutical care for patients. |
