Background:Laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy(LSG),as the most popular weight loss surgery for obese patients, has been widely recognized for its obvious weight loss effect, small injury and few postoperative complications. However,it needs further research in the treatment of obesity-related complications. This paper aims to study the improvement of weight, lipid, blood pressure, blood glucose, blood uric acid and related complications in obese patients within two years after surgery. To determine the safety and effectiveness of laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy in the treatment of obesity and its complications, and to provide methods and recommendations for the treatment of clinical obesity and its complications. Methods : Clinical data of 158 obese patients who were selected for sleeve gastrectomy(LSG)in Yijishan Hospital in during the two and a half years from January1,2020 to June 1,2022 according to inclusion and exclusion criteria were retrospectively analyzed.Weight, body mass index, blood lipid, blood pressure, blood glucose, blood uric acid, complications and preoperative drug use of the patients were collected.Postoperative data of patients were collected 3 months,6 months,12 months and 24 months after surgery through regular outpatient review, telephone and wechat follow-up.All clinical data were statistically analyzed by SPSS 27.0 software, and all measurement data were expressed as Mean±SD,p<0.05 was statistically significant. Results:Among them,134 cases were female, accounting for 84.81%,and 24 cases were male, accounting for 15.20%,with an average age of(31.24± 9.21)years.All patients successfully completed laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy without conversion to laparotomy, and the average operation time was(101.09±32.53)min.The average amount of blood loss was(50.44±70.78)ml.Except for 3 patients who needed to be transferred to intensive care unit, all the others were successfully returned to Putong ward. The preoperative average body weight, average body mass index, triglyceride, fasting blood glucose, glycated hemoglobin(Hb A1c%),systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, blood uric acid,were(100.58±18.97)Kg,(37.31±7.66)Kg/m2,(2.52±2.14),respectively.mmol/L,(9.30±2.10)mmol/L,(7.77±1.18)%,(140.61±18.88)mm Hg,(85.15±12.65)mm Hg,(425.41±96.69)mmol/L.Two years after operation, all the indexes decreased.Were(70.82±5.84)kg,(26.24 ±2.51)Kg/m2,(1.60±0.77)mmol/L,(5.79±0.37)mmol/L,(5.61±0.36)%,(126.35 ± 13.81)mm Hg,(78.99±5.25)mm Hg and(344.16±66.27)mmol/L were statistically significant compared with those before operation(p<0.05).The percentage of excess weight loss in March,June,December and 24 months were(39.12±22.56)%,(54.35±35.81)%,(86.52± 27.51)%and(82.52±23.10)%,respectively.The number of patients with glycouria, fatty liver and hypertension were decreased compared with those before surgery, with statistical significance(p<0.05),and the other complications were also improved to varying degrees. Conclusion : Laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy can effectively reduce body weight without significant complications, improve biochemical indexes such as blood lipid, blood glucose and blood uric acid, and alleviate diabetes, hypertension, fatty liver, obstructive sleep apnea syndrome and polycystic ovary syndrome.
