Objective: The lumbar spine function of patients with lumbar disc herniation was evaluated by the Tergumed system, and the five-step massage therapy combined with the Tergumed system was used for lumbar spine function training to observe the clinical effects of the program,to grasp the therapeutic advantages of the method, and to form a standardized operation program in the clinic. For the treatment of lumbar disc herniation, this treatment program can provide new treatment directions and ideas for clinical treatment. Methods: Seventy-two patients who met the diagnostic criteria for lumbar disc herniation were recruited openly from the orthopedic treatment area of the Third Clinical Hospital of Changchun University of Traditional Chinese Medicine,in which the treatment group was treated with five-step tui-na therapy combined with Tergumed system lumbar spine functional training, and the control group was treated with five-step tui-na therapy combined with conventional lumbar back muscle functional exercise. The maximum muscle strength values of the lumbar spine in anterior flexion, posterior extension, left lateral flexion and right lateral flexion in the treatment and control groups were fully evaluated by applying the JOA scale, the VAS pain scale and the Tergumed system before and after the treatment, and the changes in the values of the maximum muscle strength in the two groups were observed as the efficacy evaluation index and observation index.Results:1.Lumbar VAS scores: before treatment, the two groups were compared between groups for lumbar VAS scores, and there was no statistical significance(P>0.05),which could be compared;after treatment,a comparison between the two groups before and after treatment was performed, and the results were reduced, with statistical significance(P<0.05);after treatment,a comparison between groups was performed, and the VAS scores in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).2.Low back JOA scale scores: before treatment the two groups were compared between groups for low back JOA scores, and there was no statistical significance between the two groups(P>0.05),which could be compared;after treatment,a comparison between the two groups before and after treatment was performed, and the results were increased, which was statistically significant(P<0.05);after treatment, the JOA scores in the treatment group were higher than those in the control group when compared between the two groups(P<0.05).3.Tergumed system lumbar spine function: The comparison between the two groups before treatment showed that there was no statistical significance(P>0.05)and was comparable; After 21 days of clinical treatment, the maximum muscle strength values of lumbar flexion, posterior extension, left lateral flexion and right lateral flexion were measured in the two groups and compared with those before treatment, and the results showed that the maximum muscle strength values increased, which was statistically significant(P<0.05);After treatment, the maximum muscle strength values of the two groups were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05);When compared between the two groups after treatment, the maximum muscle strength values were higher in the treatment group than in the control group(P<0.05).4.Clinical efficacy of treatment: the total clinical efficiency of the treatment group reached 91.71%,the cure rate could reach 11.76%,the apparent efficiency could reach52.94%,the efficiency could reach 26.47%,and the inefficiency was 8.82%;the total clinical efficiency of the control group reached 82.35%.The cure rate of the control group could reach 2.94%,the clinical efficacy of the control group could reach 41.17%,the clinical efficiency of the control group could reach 38.23%,and the invalidity rate of the control group was 17.64%.In the results of the study, the total effective rate of the treatment group was higher than that of the control group, which was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.It was concluded from the VAS pain score of the lumbar region and the JOA scale score of the lumbar region that both the five-step Tuina therapy combined with the Tergumed system and the five-step Tuina therapy combined with conventional lumbar back exercises were effective, and the five-step Tuina therapy combined with the Tergumed system was superior when comparing the two groups.2.In terms of improving the function of the lumbar spine, both groups showed therapeutic effects, and the Tergumed system was superior in improving the maximum muscle strength of the lumbar spine, compared to conventional lumbar back training.
