Clinical Study On The Treatment Of Cancer-related Fatigue With Thunder Fire Moxibustion Combined With Bazhen Decoction

Objective: The objective of this inquiry is to assess the effectiveness of thunder fire moxibustion in conjunction with Bazhen decoction in the treatment of cancer-related fatigue,as well as to offer a straightforward and effortless approach for clinical management of cancer-related fatigue.Methods: 60 cancer patients who met the inclusion criteria were collected and randomly divided into two groups.The control group patients received Bazhen Tang therapy once a day,while the treatment group received Thunder Fire Moxibustion combined with Bazhen Tang therapy,with Thunder Fire Moxibustion therapy 6 times a week.After 3 weeks of treatment,record the TCM symptom scores,concise fatigue scale scores,and card scores before and after treatment,and conduct statistical analysis of the obtained data.Result: After comparison,there was no significant difference(P>0.05)in the age,gender,course of disease,traditional Chinese medicine symptoms before treatment,fatigue level,and card score between the two groups of patients.Therefore,it can be considered that there is comparability between these two groups of patients.Compare the data of two groups of patients after treatment.(1)Comparison of Traditional Chinese Medicine Symptom Scores: After treatment,the TCM symptom scores of the two groups of patients were compared.The treatment group showed significant improvement in aspects such as fatigue,fatigue,shortness of breath,pulse deficiency,spontaneous sweating,and tongue weakness compared to the control group(P<0.05),while there was no significant difference in laziness between the two groups(P>0.05).(2)Comparison of fatigue levels: After treatment,the comparison of fatigue levels between the two groups showed that the improvement of fatigue level in the treatment group was better than that in the control group(P<0.05).(3)After treatment,the results of the two groups of patients showed significant improvement,and there was a significant difference in data between the two groups(P<0.05).Among them,the treatment group had 9 cases of significant effect,15 cases of effective effect,and 6 cases of ineffective effect;However,only 2 patients in the control group showed significant improvement,16 were effective,and 12 were ineffective.The effectiveness of the treatment group reached 80%,while the effectiveness of the control group was only 60%,with no dropout cases.Conclusion: Thunder fire moxibustion combined with Bazhen decoction can effectively improve the clinical fatigue symptoms of patients,improve their quality of life,and have the advantages of simple operation and high safety.It is worthy of promotion and further research.
