Research On The Problems And Countermeasures Of Medical Service In Geriatric Friendly Hospital

The report to the 20 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China mentioned that promoting the construction of healthy China is a national strategy to actively cope with the aging population.At present,the degree of China’s aging society is gradually deepening,and while China’s medical service system continues to develop with high quality,the contradiction of elderly patients’ difficulty in seeking medical treatment is prominent.Z Hospital,as a public third-class A hospital in Zhengzhou,actively responds to the call of the National Health Commission on building an age-friendly hospital,carries out measures to "fit the aging" of medical services,and carries out construction from four age-friendly dimensions to improve the experience of elderly patients and provide theoretical and practical references for other medical institutions to build age-friendly hospitals.Most of the researches on improving medical services for elderly patients at home and abroad stay in hardware transformation and technology optimization,and pay less attention to the service needs of elderly patients.By using the literature research method,questionnaire method and interview method,and combining Maslow’s hierarchy of needs theory,new public service theory and public goods theory,from the perspective of elderly patients’ needs,the problems existing in the construction of medical services in Z Hospital in the four service dimensions of age-friendly service,age-friendly environment,age-friendly culture and age-friendly management are found.The remaining problems in the medical service of Z hospital are the imbalance of the supply and demand structure of medical service for elderly patients,the insufficient convenience of the medical treatment process for elderly patients,the relatively backward guidance service for elderly patients,and the professional quality of hospital service personnel to be improved.Z Hospital medical service problems are caused by external government factors and internal factors of the hospital.On the government side,the effect of medical resource allocation is not obvious.In the hospital,the service supporting design and planning are not in place,the volunteer work related to helping the elderly is not perfect,and the service supervision and training mechanism is not perfect.Based on the relevant theories and analysis of the causes,countermeasures are proposed.The government should strengthen policy guidance and improve relevant laws and regulations,hospitals should continue to integrate and optimize the medical service process,hospitals should strengthen the publicity and volunteer service for the elderly,and hospitals should improve the service supervision and talent security system.Through the above improvement measures,the service experience of elderly patients in Z Hospital has been improved,and the service concept of "age-friendly and so on" has been integrated into all the work of the hospital to build a new age-friendly medical service model.
