Clinical Observation Of Wandai Decoction Combined With Clindamycin In The Treatment Of Bacterial Vaginosis Of Spleen Deficiency Type

Research objective: In this study,the combination of Wandai Decoction and clindamycin phosphate vaginal gel was used to treat bacterial vaginosis(BV)of spleen deficiency type.The clinical efficacy and safety of Wandai Decoction were evaluated by analyzing the scores of TCM syndromes of patients before and after treatment,the changes of laboratory indicators of vaginal secretions,and the recrudescence rate.The curative effect of Wandai Decoction in treating bacterial vaginosis was discussed to provide evidence for its clinical application,and provide new clinical ideas and plans for the treatment of bacterial vaginosis(BV).Research approach: Sixty-two patients who met the inclusion criteria at the Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic of Jiangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Affiliated Hospital from July 2021 to September 2022 were selected(All the selected patients have known about the study of this subject and signed the informed consent form),with 31 patients assigned to the observation group and 31 patients to the control group based on randomization.The observation group received oral administration of Wandai Decoction once daily and clindamycin phosphate vaginal gel before bedtime,while the control group was only given clindamycin phosphate vaginal gel before go to sleep.Both groups underwent a two-week treatment period followed by a one-week follow-up.After stopping the treatment for one week,a follow-up examination was conducted to evaluate laboratory indicators such as traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores and vaginal secretions.All effective patients were followed up for relapse rates at 3 and 6 months after treatment,and conduct statistical analysis on the collected observation indicators to determine the actual clinical effect.At the same time,the patient’s blood routine examaination,liver and kidney function,and other safety indicators need to be tested and recorded before and after treatment to determine the safety of the treatment plan.Research result:1.General information: A total of 62 patients were selected in this study and divided into a control group and an observation group randomly.During the study period,2 cases were shed,and 60 cases were finally finished the entire process and analyzed,with 30 cases in the Wandai Decoction combined with clindamycin phosphate vaginal gel group and 30 cases in the clindamycin phosphate vaginal gel group.There was no evident difference(P>0.05)in terms of age,TCM syndrome score,Nugent score,p H value of vaginal secretions,clue cell test,and amine test between the two groups,indicating comparability of baseline data before treatment.2.In terms of clinical efficacy,the curative ratio of the Wandai Decoction combined with clindamycin phosphate vaginal gel group was43.3%,while the cure rate of the clindamycin phosphate vaginal gel group was 3.3%.There was a statistical difference in the cure rates between the two groups(P<0.05),and the cure rate of the observation group had a significant advantage compared to the control group;When it comes tooverall efficacy,the aggregate effective ratio of the observed group was 96.7%.The aggregate effective ratio of the control group was 93.3%,and there was no statistically significant difference(P>0.05)between the two groups,indicating that both treatment plans had good clinical effects for splenic deficiency-type bacterial vaginosis.3.In terms of Nugent score,there existed a statistically distinct difference between the two groups after treatment(P<0.05),and the progress of Nugent score in the observation group was better than that in the control group.4.In terms of traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores,after treatment,there exist a statistical difference(P<0.001)between the two groups.Compared to the control group,the observation group showed better performance in reducing traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores.5.In terms of the p H value of vaginal secretions,there was no statistically apparent difference between the two groups of data after treatment.But when it comes to the p H value of vaginal secretion,there was a significant difference before and after self comparison(P<0.05).It is suggested that both treatment plans have good effects on restoring the normal vaginal p H value of patients.6.In terms of recurrence rate,the observation group had a 3-month recurrence rate of 0,a 6-month recrudescence rate of 6.9%,and two cases had recrudescence;The 3-month recrudescence ratio in the control group was 21.4%,with 6 patients experiencing recurrence;The 6-month recurrence rate was 36.4%,with 8 patients experiencing recurrence;There were statistical differences(P<0.05)in the cure rate and recurrence rate after 3 and 6 months between the two groups of patients treated with different regimens,indicating a significant advantage in the observation group.Conclusion: The combination of Wandai Decoction and clindamycin phosphate vaginal gel showed better performance in treating splenic deficiency-type BV compared to the use of clindamycin phosphate vaginal gel alone.Wandai Decoction combined with clindamycin phosphate vaginal gel can significantly reduce the TCM syndrome score,Nugent score,recurrence rate in 3 months and 6 months of patients with bacterial vaginosis of spleen deficiency type,and increase the cure rate.In addition,the characteristic of high safety is also suitable for wider clinical use.
