Research On Symptom Factors And Herbal Rules In Literature Records Of Treating Cough With TCM Theory Of "Liver" Or "Spleen"

Objective: To search the modern and contemporary literature related to cough,conduct secondary screening and sorting of the modern and contemporary empirical medical cases of treating cough in the literature,analyze and summarize the symptom factors and rules of using Chinese herb in literature records of treating cough with theory of "liver" or "spleen",so as to provide a more comprehensive approach to selecting herb prescriptions for clinical cough with TCM theory of liver or spleen,and also provide a reference for community control of liver cough and spleen cough symptoms in selecting prescriptions and herbsMethods: These literature were retrieved from Chinese National Knowledge Infrastructure,China Science and Technology Journal Database,Wanfang Database and other databases.The literature meeting the inclusion criteria was added to Zotero,the literature management software.The modern and contemporary empirical medical records of TCM in the literature were collected,and the selected TCM medical records were treated in a standard manner and saved in the form of.xlsx.WPS Office table tool was used to make statistics on the frequency of syndrome elements and related herbs.And IBM SPSS Statistics 26 was used to make systematic cluster statistical analysis on Chinese herbal medicines whose frequency percentage was greater than 1.00%.All traditional Chinese herb from literature records were analyzed by IBM SPSS Modeler 18 wit association rules of Apriori.Eventually,Syndrome elements distribution and Chinese herbal medicine rules of treating cough with theory of "liver" or "spleen" were summarized and discussed.Results:1.After reviewed and filtered large numerous of related literature,there were252 TCM literature records of treating liver cough and 214 TCM literature records of treating spleen cough which permitted the inclusive criteria in total.Eight nature syndrome elements located in the live were extracted from the "liver cough" medical records,among which the most common ones were fire [heat] and Qi stagnation;Seven nature syndrome elements with spleen location were extracted from the "spleen cough" medical records,and the most common ones were phlegm,Qi deficiency and dampness.In the medical record of "liver cough",after removing liver and lung,7 syndromes of disease location were extracted,mainly distributed in spleen,kidney and stomach.In the medical record of "spleen cough",after removing the spleen and lung,five syndromes of disease location were extracted,mainly distributed in stomach,surface and kidney.2.In order to explore the targeted treatment of different syndrome elements,the frequency statistics of TCM prescriptions in medical records containing major syndrome elements were carried out.In all the medical records containing liver+ fire [heat] syndrome elements(138 prescriptions),a total of 13 herbs with frequency of more than 10 were extracted to clear liver fire [heat] :indigo naturals,cape jasmine fruit,tree peony bark,aromatic turmeric root-tuber,stiff silkworm,cicada slough,mulberry leaf,raddle,red peony root,Chinese gentian,common selfheal fruit-spike,szechwan China berry fruit and gambir plant.In the medical records(130 prescriptions)containing liver and Qi stagnation syndrome elements,there were 8 herbs with a frequency of more than 10 that could treat liver-qi stagnation: Chinese thorowax root,aromatic turmeric root-tuber,peppermint,nutgrass galingale rhizome,szechwan lovage rhizome,szechwan chinaberry fruit,green tangerine peel and finger citron.3.In view of the treatment of cough based on spleen,in the medical records containing spleen and phlegm syndrome elements(136 prescriptions),5 herbs with a frequency of more than 10 for the treatment of phlegm in spleen were extracted:pinellia tuber,tangerine peel,officinal magnolia bark,cassia twig and pummelo peel.In the records containing spleen and Qi deficiency syndrome elements(133prescriptions),10 herbs with frequency ≥10 for the treatment of Qi deficiency in spleen were extracted: liquorice root,Indian bread,largehead atractylodes rhizome,tangshen,milkvetch root,common yam rhizome,coix seed,heterophylly falsestarwort root,white hyacinth bean and Chinese date.In the medical records containing spleen and dampness syndrome elements(117 prescriptions),10 herbs with a frequency of more than 10 for the treatment of dampness in spleen were extracted: Indian bread,pinellia tuber,tangerine peel,largehead atractylodes rhizome,officinal magnolia bark,atractylodes rhizome,baical skullcap root,coix seed,villous amomum fruit and white hyacinth bean.4.In order to understand the compatibility of cough drugs from liver or spleen,the systematic clustering analysis of Pearson phase 2 relation number was performed on 26 flavors of liver cough treated with a frequency greater than 35 times and 29 flavors of spleen cough treated with a frequency greater than 27 times,respectively.The optimal clustering number of the two medical records was grouped into 7 categories.For Chinese herbal medicines contained in the two types of medical records,the relevant combinations of only two herbs were obtained by the statistical method of association rule analysis.Among them,there were 9 groups associated with traditional Chinese herb in the "liver cough" medical record,and13 core herbs for the treatment of liver cough were extracted: indigo naturals,clam shell,Chinese thorowax root,aromatic turmeric root-tuber,white peony root,Chinese angelica,largehead atractylodes rhizome,Indian bread,orange fruit,liquorice root,white mulberry root-bark,Chinese wolfberry root-bark and peppermint.There were 17 groups associated with TCM in the treatment of "spleen cough",and 11 core herbs for the treatment of liver cough were extracted:largehead atractylodes rhizome,tangshen,Indian bread,milkvetch root,pinellia tuber,tangerine peel,officinal magnolia bark,liquorice root,platycodon grandiflorum,edicated leaven and tatarian aster root.Conclusion: The treatment of liver cough in modern and contemporary times mainly starts from the fire and Qi stagnation of the liver.In the treatment of liver cough and cough herbs combination with sweet and warm herbs or sweet and calm to invigorating spleen and stomach,and treating both manifestation and root cause of disease.Prescriptions for the treatment of liver cough for reference include Dan Zhi Xiaoyao powder,Xiaochaihu decoction,Sini powder and Daige powder.The treatment of spleen cough mainly starts from phlegm,Qi deficiency and dampness.When treating spleen cough,attention should be paid to medication compatibility exterior uses cold drinks to regulate Qi,dissipate accumulation and stagnation,and warm the spleen and lungs,along with meridian inducing drugs for the lungs to dissipate phlegm and stop coughing.Reference formulas for treating spleen cough include Liujunzi pills,Yupingfeng powder,Erchen decoction,Pingwei powder,Baohe pills,and Zhisou powder.
