E Hospital Refined Management Performance Of Medical Consumables Evaluation Study

With the wide application of new medical consumables in clinic,medical consumables have become the focus of government,medical institutions and patients after drugs.At present,there are different degrees of irrational use of medical consumables in domestic medical institutions.The proportion of medical consumables expenditure in the cost increases year by year,and the management of medical consumables is extensive.Regulatory authorities and hospital management are focused on the core issue of standardized management of medical consumables,in order to reduce hospital costs and enhance performance assessment indicators.This paper seeks to enhance management of medical consumables through the implementation of a performance index system,and proffers specific proposals to foster hospital control of consumables cost and enhance hospital management proficiency.This paper,based on literature and field research,examines the current medical consumables management situation in E Hospital,uniting performance management theory,stakeholder theory,and constructing an indicator system for the refined management performance evaluation of medical consumables according to the requirements Performance management and applicable national regulations and directives by using logical model.Four evaluation dimensions of management input,management process,management output and management effect construct the second and third level performance evaluation indexes.By employing the analytic Hierarchy process(AHP)to ascertain the comparative importance of each tier of evaluation indicators in the performance evaluation system,the performance data in each evaluation index is quantitatively evaluated to decide the evaluation level,thus guaranteeing the assessment of medical consumables refined management performance information.An empirical examination of the life-cycle management of medical consumables in E Hospital yielded the performance scores of all indicators in each dimension and their respective performance evaluation levels,thereby demonstrating the issues.The problems reflected in the performance evaluation were analyzed,and the countermeasures and suggestions were put forward to improve the management of medical consumables.Quantitative indicators,as per the established performance evaluation system,can be used to present the performance information of the refined management of medical consumables,making it convenient for hospital managers to accurately assess the status quo of the management of medical consumables throughout the life cycle and the work effectiveness of pertinent functional departments.By comparing the gap between the management status quo and performance objectives,effective measures can be taken to optimize the refined management process of medical consumables.It has practical significance to improve the performance level of medical consumables fine management in medical institutions.
