Objective:The narrative nursing will be applied to psychological nursing of cervical cancer patients undergoing concurrent chemoradiation therapy,in which its intervention effects on psychological distress, coping style and quality of life will be evaluated.Method(s):The method of randomized controlled study was adopted to divide 90 cervical cancer patients who were hospitalized to the Cancer Department of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Kunming Medical University from January 2022 to October2022 for concurrent chemoradiation therapy were randomly divided into into control group(45 cases)and experimental group(45 cases). The general nursing routine was implemented for the control group, and the narrative nursing was implemented for the experimental group on the basis of general nursing routine. The data was collected by using the general information questionnaire,DMSM,MCMQ and cervical cancer life quality assessment scale(FACT-Cx)before and 6 weeks after the intervention.Result(s):1.The contrast of psychological distress between the two groups: Before intervention, there was no significant difference in DT scores between the two groups(P>0.05);the scores of psychological distress of the two groups after the intervention were lower than those before the intervention, and the statistically difference was shown(P<0.05);the score of the experimental group after intervention was lower than that of the control group, and the statistically difference was shown(P<0.05).2.The contrast of the medical coping styles between the two groups: No statistically difference between the two groups in the scores of facing dimension and avoidant dimension was shown before intervention(P>0.05),but the statistically difference between the two groups in the scores of yield dimension was shown(P<0.05).No statistically difference between the control group and the experimental group in the scores of facing dimension, avoidant dimension and yield dimension was shown after intervention(P>0.05).The score of facing dimension was lower than that of the domestic norm through the contrast with the domestic norm, but the score of avoidant dimension and yield dimension were higher than that of the domestic norm, and the statistically difference was shown(P<0.05).3.The contrast of the life quality of patients in the two groups: Before intervention, there was no significant difference in terms of FACT-Cx scores and total scores between the two groups(P>0.05);after intervention,no statistically difference was shown between the experimental group and the control group in terms of FACT-Cx total scores, physiological function,social/family function, functional function, and cervical cancer trait dimension scores(P>0.05),but the statistically difference in social/family status and emotional status was shown(P<0.05).Conclusion(s):1.Narrative nursing can help the reduction of the psychological distress of cervical cancer patients undergoing concurrent chemoradiation therapy.2.Narrative nursing can improve the quality of life of cervical cancer patients who are undergoing concurrent chemoradiation therapy, and has obvious effect on the social/family function and emotional function.3.Cervical cancer patients who are undergoing concurrent chemoradiation therapy tend to adopt avoidant coping styles,Narrative nursing has no obvious effect on improving the medical coping style of such patients.
