A Community Of Common Health For Mankind: The China’s Vision Of Global Epidemic Governance

In 2020,the COVID-19 epidemic broke out globally,and human society experienced unprecedented health and safety challenges.Therefore,the control of the COVID-19 epidemic has become one of the important topics of the international community,and the search for an effective way to control the epidemic has become the common concern of all mankind.Based on the trend of epidemic prevention and control,and the vision of a community with a shared future for mankind,China has proposed the concept of a community of common health for mankind.This vision is the unity of new governance concepts,logic and practice in response to the global public health security crisis caused by the COVID-19 epidemic,which provides practical and effective guidance for global epidemic control,and reflects the reality of the world’s shared destiny and mutually affected in the era of globalization.A community of common health for mankind is a Chinese plan to effectively control the COVID-19 epidemic and achieve global public health security.It takes the COVID-19 outbreak as the realistic basis,the community with a shared future for mankind as the vision,and the common security of all mankind as the value orientation.It contains rich theoretical connotation and feasible practical path.This paper takes the vision of a community of common health for mankind as the core category,and combines the safety issues arising from the governance of the COVID-19 epidemic,to carry out research on the Chinese vision of global epidemic governance.Comprehensively grasp the new governance vision of a community of common health for mankind through four dimensions: observation of the real situation,conceptual correlation,system interpretation,and path exploration.At the academic level,this paper aims to explore the conceptual relevance of a community of common health for mankind with a community with a shared future for mankind,major country diplomacy with Chinese characteristics,and a holistic approach to national security,and to systematically explain the endogenous logic,core meaning,and theoretical characteristics of a community of common health for mankind,and to elaborate the rich connotation and system structure of the concept of a community of common health for mankind.At the practical level,this paper starts with the global governance,especially the health and safety crisis,exacerbated by the COVID-19,takes care of the vision,experience and achievements of epidemic prevention and control in China,explores the practical reasons for the formation of the vision of a community of common health for mankind,and clarifies the importance of building the vision of a community of common health for mankind to promote the reform and innovation of global public health governance,improve the public health cooperation mechanism,and achieve world peace,security and development.The vision of a community of common health for mankind does not stop at solving the problem of COVID-19 epidemic control,but relies on the Global Development Initiative,the Global Security Initiative,and the Global Civilization Initiative to build a strong force of solidarity and mutual trust among countries,build a common foundation for health and security,and build a bright future for human health and development in the practice of epidemic control.
