Exploring the impact of population mobility on rural social security in border areas is conducive to maintaining frontier security and promoting sustainable rural development. The globalization process has highlighted the importance of border security, which is very important for national security, regional security and even world security. At present, there are not many surveys on rural social security in the Tumen River Basin, and the main problem in the border villages of the Tumen River is the problem of population outflow. To this end, this paper explores the rural social risks brought by population mobility and the ways in which they interact with each other through a field survey of the border rural areas in the Tumen River. The leading progresses and conclusion of the dissertation can be seen as follows:(1)The positive impact of population movement on rural social security in border areas is greater than negative impact. The structural elements brought about by the rural population mobility are conducive to the differentiation and reorganization of the original social structure and improve the tolerance and cohesion of rural society. The flow of people has brought labor to the border rural areas, triggered new rural social population movements and increased the economic vitality of rural society. From a long-term perspective, population mobility is conducive to improving the rural social security in the border region.(2)Population mobility increases risks from living security in rural society..Farmers are the main body of rural social change. With the increase of migrants, the differences in culture and lifestyle have led to the emergence of life security incidents. In addition, disputes over land transfer and homestead transfer in rural areas have also increased.Population mobility has driven the flow of rural production factors, and it has also triggered the population mobility in the new situation, that is,the short-term labor mobility.(3)By improving the rural social security system, paying attention to the problem of rural land transfer, and providing various support to migrant population management departments,it will help promote the rational and orderly flow of population in rural areas along the border region. The security system for rural security provides a good communication environment for the population. It’s very important and effective solutions for the issues, which is establishing a sound rural social security system;a comprehensive and effective rural social risk prevention mechanism;and to support a government sector which is managing population mobility. These solutions I state will bring orderly population mobility.
