| Education cooperation is one of the cores of the Lancang-Mekong Cooperation(LMC)mechanism.2019 Lancang-Mekong Education Cooperation(Pu’er)Forum not only promotes the exchanges and cooperation between China and Lancang-Mekong countries,but also increases China’s soft power in culture.With more and more international exchanges and cooperation in this region,there will be greater need for interpreting talents.Therefore,2019 Lancang-Mekong Education Cooperation(Pu’er)Forum and the interpreting practice relating to it play an important role in carrying out the education cooperation and cultivating interpreting talents.The report is written by the authore on the basis of a simulated simultaneous interpretation of 2019 Lancang-Mekong Education Cooperation(Pu’er)Forum.It covers description of the interpreting task,interpreting process,throretical framework,case study and summary.Based on the economic principle of Chomsky,Yang Chengshu’s development of the economic principle in interpretation as wll as Gile’s Effort Model,under the guidence of principle of syntactic linearity,the authore made a detailed analysis for her case studies by adopting tactics like segamentation,addition,deletion and conservation in simultaneous interpretation in this report.Self-reflection and suggestions for future interpreting and studies are also included.Through the simulated interpreting practice,the author has further-understanding of the characteristics of educational conference interpretation,and it is also helpful for the author to understand the development direction of Lancang-Mekong educational cooperation under Belt and Road Initiative. |
