| In recent years,with the gradual convenience of internet usage,junior high school students have started to access resources through the internet,and the internet usage rate has rapidly increased.With the rapid development of the Internet,a new form of bullying has emerged,namely cyberbullying.Junior high school student is currently in an important period of growth and development,so how to effectively reduce cyberbullying among junior high school student has become an important topic at present.Previous studies have shown that parental psychological control,narcissism,and moral disengagement can predict cyberbullying,but no research has focused on the joint mechanisms of the three on cyberbullying.This study aims to explore the mechanisms of narcissism and moral disengagement in the relationship between parental psychological control and cyberbullying among junior high school student.Using the "Parental Psychological Control Scale","Cyberbullying Scale","Narcissistic Personality Questionnaire",and "Adolescent Moral Disengagement Questionnaire" as research tools,a portion of students from two junior high school in Jinan and Zaozhuang,including Grade 1,Grade 2,and Grade 3,were selected as participants.Descriptive statistical analysis,independent sample t-test,one-way ANOVA,correlation analysis,regression analysis,and chain mediator test were conducted using SPSS26 and Process inserts.The research results are as follows:(1)There is a significant correlation between psychological control,narcissism,moral disengagement,and cyberbullying among parents of junior high school students;(2)Overt narcissism in junior high school students does not play a mediating role between parental psychological control and cyberbullying;(3)Junior high school students’ covert narcissism plays a partial mediating role between parental psychological control and cyberbullying;(4)Moral disengagement among junior high school students plays a partial mediating role between parental psychological control and cyberbullying;(5)Middle school students’ narcissism and moral disengagement act as a chain like intermediary between parental psychological control and cyberbullying.The research results indicate that narcissism and moral disengagement play a chain mediating role between parental psychological control and cyberbullying,and the mechanisms of explicit narcissism and implicit narcissism are different.In mental health education,the frequency of cyberbullying can be reduced by reducing parental psychological control levels,thereby reducing narcissism levels,and enhancing middle school students’ sense of morality and responsibility. |
