| With the rapid development of artificial intelligence and cloud applications,making independent design and research of chips increasingly important,especially for China,which is at its crucial point of making breakthroughs in the advanced technologies.The RISC-V open-source instruction set has been rapidly popularized since it has developed in 2010 due to its streamlined instructions,restriction free design and low cost.At present,RISC-V China Shanghai Summit has been held for two years,and it plays a vital role in the design and application of chips in China.This practice report aims to strengthen the understanding of chip technology practitioners and its fans on RISC-V,and accelerate the autonomous control of Io T chips and the localization of alternative capabilities.This practice report is a 57-minute speech from the HOT CHIP tutorial31 lecture series,including an introduction to the RISC-V project and a follow-up Q&A session.The report,as a whole contains four main parts: the preparation;interpreting problems;cases analysis and solutions;introspection.Moreover,there are four major problems in this interpretation task:high-concentration of technical terms;high-frequency of elision,mixture of various accents;the misallocation of energy using in note-taking and memorizing results in poor logic of the target language,the incoherence of the target language,failing to interpret whole of the content,overmuch fillers and repeated interpretation.The effort model was proposed by Daniel Gill.The efforts include the allocation of listening,produce,memory and coordination,which can be summarized as CI=L+P+M+C or SI=L+P+M+C.Under its guidance,corresponding solutions are proposed including: background knowledge prediction,merging items of the same kind,contextual prediction,grasping key words and distinguish meaning groups.The following conclusions are drawn from the practice: firstly,the importance of terminology preparation before translation,especially in scientific and technological texts.Secondly,contextual prediction improves the effectiveness of the target language.Finally,appropriate allocation of brain memory and concise notes make it more able to convey the information of the source language.The practice report was conducted by simulated consecutive interpretation and the whole process was recorded by electronic equipment.The purpose of the report is to solve practical problems in interpreting tasks and to propose related coping strategies based on the effort model.At the same time,the target is to strengthen the popularization of chip knowledge to the public through the interpretation task,and provide certain information for the future practitioners. |
