Research On The Application Of "Shimen Inscription" In Calligraphy Creation

After Emperor Xiaowen of the Northern Wei moved his capital to Luoyang,with the continuous promotion of the Sinicization policy,the art of calligraphy entered a prosperous period,and the regular script carved in stone gradually matured.There are many kinds and styles of regular script in the Northern Wei Dynasty,and they jointly cast brilliant calligraphy art.And "Shimen Ming" is one of the wonderful things,whether in dots,knots or rules,"Shimen Ming" with its unique artistic style to provide new elements for calligraphy creation.Through the study of "Shimen Ming",so as to explore its own calligraphy language,style characteristics,and then guide their own artistic creation.In the first part,the author researches the social and historical background of Shimen Ming.The second part of the article combines the later scholars’ evaluation of "Shimen Ming",focuses on the analysis and study of the calligraphy style characteristics of "Shimen Ming" from three aspects of brushwork,association,and composition,and discusses the later scholars to "Shimen Ming";The third part of the article combined with the artistic style research results of the brushwork,conclusion and chapter of "Shimen Ming",guided their own calligraphy creation,combined the theory with the creation practice,and made clear the future direction in calligraphy creation.
