| With a decisive poverty alleviation in 2020,China has finally led its people out of absolute poverty and achieved the vision of the Chinese nation that has existed for thousands of years.The poverty alleviation documentary is the best visual testimony to the history of the Chinese struggle to lift itself out of poverty,it takes a documentary approach to the poverty alleviation front line,recording every moving story on the way out of poverty,and recording the enormous efforts made by the poor people to get out of poverty,the poverty alleviation documentary is a great microcosm of China’s new era.It not only has an important visual significance,but also tells the story of an individual’s fate,it plays an irreplaceable role in telling breakthrough stories,displaying the achievements and experiences of poverty alleviation,and transmitting the spirit of poverty alleviation.Based on this,this paper takes poverty alleviation documentaries as the research object.After viewing and arranging more than 30 selected poverty alleviation documentaries,this paper mainly uses contrastive analysis and text analysis to explore the narrative problems of poverty alleviation documentaries,and the research is divided into three parts.The first part defines poverty alleviation documentaries and related narrative theories,and classifies poverty alleviation documentaries according to their content,participation,and function,this paper clarifies the characteristics of poverty alleviation documentaries from a macro perspective,then combs and analyzes the development process of poverty alleviation documentaries,and determines the scope of the research.The second part is divided into three chapters,which analyze the narrative content,narrative language and narrative techniques of anti-poverty documentaries according to the traditional dichotomy of "story" and "discourse" in narratology.Chapter 2 focuses on the "story" content of anti-poverty documentaries,summarizes the three major narrative themes since the development of anti-poverty documentaries,clarifies the core ideas of anti-poverty documentaries,and then analyzes the basic composition of the narrative content of documentaries in terms of narrative characters and narrative events.Chapter 3 analyzes the narrative language of documentaries and summarizes the presentation rules of color,composition,simultaneous sound,music and other aspects of documentaries from the semantic level,as well as the effects on the narrative content and themes of documentaries.Chapter 4 explores the narrative techniques beyond the discourse structure of the documentary film on poverty eradication,and further studies the special utility of narrative techniques for the narration and dissemination of poverty eradication stories in the documentary film on poverty eradication.The third part explores ways to optimize the narrative of future poverty alleviation and related poverty alleviation documentaries.To make a breakthrough in the field of poverty alleviation documentaries,it is necessary to take an objective and critical look at the current shortcomings,based on the poverty alleviation issues of homogeneity of narrative content,formalization of narrative expression,and ambiguity of audience awareness,in order to provide reference for the narrative level of poverty alleviation and similar documentaries in the future. |
