As a sports sport integrating artistry,competition,performance and ornamentation,rumba dance not only has the public attributes of fitness and mental fitness,but also has the competitive attributes of displaying superb dance techniques and artistic expression.As the new force of Latin dance sports,the competitive level of young Latin dancers represents the development level of Latin dance in the future,so it is particularly important to strengthen the research on the teaching and training of young Latin dancers.How to improve the teaching and training of young Latin dancers,emphasize technical practice and imitation,light artistic expression and creativity education,and help Latin dancers achieve breakthroughs in competitive performance under the existing technical level,is the source of this study.This paper attempts to expand the theoretical research and teaching practice of Latin dance by selecting the theory of body control and its application in the teaching of young Latin dancers.The Del Sart system is a logical system of human posture that emphasizes the consistency of external body movements and psychological emotions,and its principle of "physical and mental consistency","trinity" principle,"body expression theory" and "action expression theory" can expand the expression of dance vocabulary.Rumba dance has the characteristics of soft,romantic and lyrical and is most suitable for emotional expression,so this paper takes rumba dance as a teaching carrier,and selects 32 Latin dancers from Qidian Dance Training Institute in Ezhou City,Hubei Province with more than 5 years of dance experience,Latin dance level above 6 levels,and provincial Latin dance competitions 3 times or more as experimental objects,through literature data method,questionnaire survey method,experimental method,mathematical statistics and other research methods,using Del Sart’s theoretical cognition,dance vocabulary practice,dance creation and expression teaching design.The Del Sart theory system is introduced into the rumba teaching of young Latin dancers,emphasizing dance movement understanding and body emotional expression,and through a 12-week rumba teaching experiment,the application method and effectiveness of Del Sart’s theoretical system in the teaching of young Latin dancers are explored.After 12 weeks of rumba teaching,two sets of data were analysed and the following conclusions were drawn:(1)The results showed that in terms of special physical fitness,there was a very significant difference of P<0.01 between the balance quality and coordination quality of the students in the experimental group before and after the experiment,and there was no significant difference in the balance and coordination quality of the control group before and after the experiment P>0.05,and the balance and coordination quality of the experimental group were better than those of the control group.That is,through the application of Del Sart’s theoretical system in the teaching of rumba,the balance and coordination ability of young Latin dancers were improved.(2)The study showed that in terms of the technical aspects of rumba,the technical quality,music interpretation,choreography and presentation of the experimental group and the control group had a very significant difference of P<0.01,and the experimental group had a higher technical quality score of 0.55 points,a score of music interpretation 0.81 points higher,and a score of 0.92 points higher than that of the control group compared with the control group.That is,through the application of Del Sart’s theoretical system in the teaching of rumba,the creation and expression of the body movements of young Latin dancers in music were improved,and the musical interpretation,choreography and display of rumba were improved.(3)The study showed that in terms of learning interest,there was a significant difference of P<0.05 in positive interest and self-learning ability in the experimental group before and after the experiment,and a very significant difference in negative interest P <0.01,that is,the Del Sartre theory system in the teaching of rumba through the combination of theoretical cognitive learning,dance vocabulary practice and dance creation and expression,improved the positive interest of rumba learning,improved the independent learning ability,and stimulated the learning interest of young Latin dancers.(4)Through the three application methods of Del Sart’s theoretical cognition,body dance vocabulary practice,and dance expression creation and expression,the balance and coordination quality in the special physical qualities of young Latin dancers,the musical interpretation and choreography and display of rumba dancers and their interest in learning can be effectively improved.
