Study On The Optimization Of Government Functions In The Integration Of Culture And Tourism In Meidaizhao Town

The integration of culture and tourism is the latest trend of tourism development,Culture and tourism integration is a new form of business formed by the mutual infiltration and integration of the cultural industry and tourism industry.The integrated development of culture and tourism has become an effective path to promote local economic and social development,promote industrial upgrading,and accelerate the integrated development of primary,secondary,and tertiary industries.With the restructuring of the former Ministry of Culture and the National Tourism Administration into the Ministry of Culture and Tourism in 2018,the State Council provided top-level institutional support for the integrated development of the cultural and tourism industries,and also promoted the integration of cultural and tourism development into a fast lane.In the report of the 20 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China in 2022,it was pointed out that we should continuously develop and prosper cultural undertakings and industries,adhere to the principle of using culture to shape tourism,and promote the deep integration of culture and tourism.The country’s attention to the integration of culture and tourism is constantly increasing.This article takes Meidaizhao Town as the research sample,based on the background of national cultural and tourism integration development,and uses research methods such as literature research and field research to conduct in-depth analysis of local government functions in the development of cultural and tourism integration.Mainly from the perspective of the concept of cultural and tourism integration,cultural and tourism integration mode,problems and reasons existing in the performance of government duties,and suggestions for optimizing government functions,this paper combs the research results of domestic and foreign academic circles on government functions in the development of cultural and tourism integration.Summarize the cultural and tourism resources of Meidaizhao Town into three categories: historical and cultural tourism resources,natural ecological tourism resources,and folk cultural tourism resources,and elaborate on the achievements of the integrated development of cultural and tourism in Meidaizhao Town and the performance of government functions.Based on the survey questionnaire,interview outline,and the current situation of cultural and tourism integration development in Meidaizhao Town,it was found that there are problems in the development of cultural and tourism integration in Meidaizhao Town,such as unscientific planning,insufficient supply of public services in the cultural and tourism market,inadequate supervision and coordination functions,insufficient capital investment,and low brand influence.and the reasons for the problems are analyzed from the perspective of government function performance.Based on the new public management theory and industry integration theory,specific measures have been proposed to improve the long-term plan for cultural and tourism integration,expand investment channels for cultural and tourism integration,enhance the level of cultural and tourism public services,optimize the functional structure of cultural and tourism,and strengthen the construction of cultural and tourism brands,in order to provide reference for the future development of cultural and tourism integration in Meidaizhao Town.
