| Chinese character teaching has always been one of the major difficulties in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.On the one hand,Chinese characters are complex for non-native speakers,and on the other hand,the existing Chinese character teaching methods have their limitations,so it is necessary to explore other Chinese character teaching methods.In this project,we use the etymological theory of Chinese characters,the basis of traditional and simplified Chinese character correspondence,and the knowledge of some education-related disciplines such as psychology and linguistics to combine with the theory of teaching Chinese as a foreign language,and form the theoretical knowledge of the application of etymological analysis to the teaching of Chinese characters as a foreign language by combining previous research.The Chinese characters in the New HSK Level 6 Vocabulary Syllabus are selected for etymological combing and pedagogical analysis to lay a good theoretical foundation for teaching practice;at the same time,they are applied to bias analysis to verify the feasibility of the theory in practice.This paper is divided into nine chapters:Chapter 1 is an introduction,introduces the theoretical foundation and preliminary preparation required for this research topic.It mainly includes the research purpose and significance of this paper,material sources and research methods,an overview of relevant rationales,the current status of relevant research,and the basis and principles of research classification.Chapters 2 to 7 are divided into six chapters based on the match between the evolution of the origin of Chinese characters and the simplification methods,namely: the match between the evolution of the origin of characters and the addition and subtraction of radicals in the Outline,the match between the evolution of the origin of characters and the replacement of radicals in the Outline,the match between the evolution of the origin of characters and the regularization of calligraphy in the Outline,the match between the evolution of the origin of characters and the reconstruction of the characters in the Outline,the match between the evolution of the origin of characters and the adoption of archaic forms in the Outline,and the match between the evolution of the origin of characters and the adoption of archaic forms in the Outline.The study also includes a selection of the following chapters in each chapter,ten to twenty representative Chinese characters with research value are selected and analyzed one by one,and each character is analyzed in three parts:morphological evolution,meaning analysis,and teaching methods.Chapter 8 is about the analysis and teaching application of the bias analysis of international students’ corpus based on the word origin theory.Firstly,the corpus of international students’ compositions in the HSK dynamic composition corpus is collected,and the bias analysis of the Chinese characters based on the word origin theory is carried out in selected cases.Secondly,we propose a teaching design based on the application of etymological analysis and form a lesson plan to provide practical solutions for teaching.Chapter 9 reviews the whole paper,summarizes the views of this paper,and presents the shortcomings of this study. |
