As a German Expressionist artist,Eindhoven’s paintings have a unique charm of trace language, which reflects an air of life to death. This paper will focus on the language of "traces" in Friedrich Eindhoven’s paintings. The paper will first discuss how the language of "traces" is defined in modern painting and how it is mainly expressed in visual art.It traces Friedrich Eindhoven’s personal experience and his journey in the field of art, tracing the influence of war and personal preferences on his artistic career and creative style. Then interpreting Eindhoven’s language of traces,we explore the unique psychological codes that follow group painting by examining the broken expressions represented by spots in Eindhoven’s pictures, respectively, and then the faces of people appearing in Eindhoven’s pictures.Next,Eindhoven’s approach to photo-overlapping painting is explored, reflecting Eindhoven’s foresight in the presentation of future paintings. Finally,we explore the absurdity of Eindhoven’s deformation of the figures in the scenes.Eindhoven has always been concerned with "people",and he hopes that people will continue to live in their own way during the war, even though the war has filled people with pain,he still has a glimmer of hope for life.
