Due to the impact of the novel coronavirus epidemic,teaching Chinese as a foreign language has been forced to move online,which has brought some teaching troubles.First of all,it is difficult for students to concentrate on listening and speaking lessons online.Secondly,online listening and speaking courses also affect the communication efficiency between teachers and students.Inquiry-based teaching activities can make students focus their attention,improve their learning efficiency and promote the development of students’ abilities in all aspects.Before the design of teaching activities,the author conducted a questionnaire survey,interview and test on students with intermediate Chinese level,and conducted a questionnaire survey and interview on listening and speaking teachers.The survey results show that students have problems of inattention,low speaking rate,fear of oral expression and poor expression ability.Teachers have problems such as lack of interest in teaching content,slow teaching progress,unable to communicate with students in time,and giving students too little time to reflect in teaching activities.In view of the current situation of online intermediate Chinese listening and speaking course,the author designed a "phased reflective inquiry teaching activity" and carried out three months ’teaching practice.After teaching practice,The author analyzes the changes of students’ Chinese listening and speaking ability,the effect of the teaching activities designed by the author in the classroom,and the effect of the teaching activities designed by the author,by collecting the students’ achievements before,during and after the inquiry-based teaching activities,the students’ feedback(questionnaire and interview)on the implementation effect of the inquiry-based teaching activities,the teachers’ evaluation form on the performance of teachers and students in the classroom,and the teachers’ suggestions on the inquiry-based teaching activities Feed.The author analyzes the above information and proves that "phased reflective inquiry teaching activities" can not only make students’ attention become concentrated,but also improve students’ self-confidence and oral expression ability to a certain extent,increase the interaction between teachers and students,students have time to reflect.This activity also helps teachers grasp the activity time.In addition,the author puts forward some suggestions in the implementation process of inquiry teaching activities: teachers should give full play to their leading role;Allow students sufficient time for reflection and inquiry;Teachers should guide students to put forward the inquiry questions related to the topic;Carry out various forms of characteristic exploration activities;Create a good atmosphere for activities;Make full use of online teaching software.
