| Objective: To analyze the clinical effect of acupuncture and cupping therapy in the treatment of facial spasm and provide a good basis for the optimal clinical selection. Methods: The 60 cases meeting the criteria were divided into control and test groups,30 each,4 shedding and 56 effective. The control group selected conventional acupuncture treatment, and the trial group added acupuncture and cupping on the basis of conventional acupuncture.Acupuncture treatment 1 day,2 days off every 5 days, totaling 20 times,1 cupping 1 week, totaling 4 times. The efficacy indexes were Cohen muscle spasm strength, frequency of Penn muscle spasm, and diagnostic efficacy standard of Chinese medicine.respectively, scores were scored before, after treatment and 3 months after treatment, and the data were statistical analyzed. Results: 1.No comparison of Cohen intensity and Penn frequency(P﹥ 0.05)was comparable;2.Cohen intensity,Penn frequency and pre-treatment comparison were significant(P﹤ 0.01).3.Statistical differences between the Cohen intensity and Penn frequency index(P﹤ 0.05);4.Statistical difference between the two groups(P﹤ 0.05).The total efficiency in the experimental and control groups was 89.0% and 75.0%,respectively,and the recurrence rate was 8.00% and 19.05%,respectively.Conclusion: Acupuncture and cupping can effectively improve facial spasm frequency and strength, the clinical effect is relatively better, significantly lower recurrence rate, and have great clinical value. |
