| Purpose: To observe the difference of the effects of TCM tonifying kidney and regulating cycle therapy combined with western medicine and western medicine alone in the treatment of infertility patients with Polycystic Ovary syndrome(PCOS),and comprehensively analyze the TCM symptom score and related indicators such as ovulation rate and pregnancy rate of the two treatments.Objective To explore the curative effect of traditional Chinese medicine tonifying kidney and regulating cycle combined with western medicine promoting excretion in treating infertility of polycystic ovary syndrome.Materialandmethod: Sixty infertile patients with polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS)who were diagnosed as infertile and met the criteria were enrolled in the gynecological Clinic of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Affiliated Hospital 09.2020-11.2021.They were randomly divided into two groups,treatment group(n = 30)and control group(N= 30).In the treatment group,patients were treated with traditional Chinese medicine tonifying kidney and regulating cycle combined with western medicine to promote drainage,while the control group was treated with western medicine to promote drainage.Observed two groups of gonadotropin(designed.the Gn),use the number of days and dosage,injections of human chorionic gonadotropin(HCG)days intrauterine membrane thickness and type,ovulation rate and pregnancy rate of patients with and without pregnancy after treatment serum sex hormone levels,containing luteinizing hormone(LH),luteinizing hormone/follicle-stimulating hormone(LH/FSH),estradiol(E2),testosterone(T),Combined with the improvement of TCM symptoms,the curative effect was evaluated comprehensively.The database was established and analyzed using SPSS 25.0 statistical software.Results:1.Effective rate of comprehensive efficacy: After treatment,there were 19 cases of cured,6cases of marked effect,3 cases of effective and 2 cases of ineffective in the treatment group,and the total effective rate was 93.33%.In the control group,there were 10 cases of cured,7cases of marked effect,10 cases of effective and 3 cases of ineffective,and the total effective rate was 90.00%.There was statistical difference in the comparison of efficacy between analysis groups(P < 0.05).2.Comparison between the two groups before and after treatment: TCM symptom score,LH,LH/FSH and T in the treatment group decreased to some extent after treatment compared with before treatment,and the differences were statistically significant(P < 0.05);In the control group,TCM symptom score,LH and T decreased after treatment,while E2 increased,with statistical significance(P < 0.05).3.Comparison of efficacy between the two groups after treatment: the number of days and dosage of Gn in the treatment group was significantly lower than that in the control group,with statistical significance(P < 0.01);The TCM symptom score of the treatment group was significantly lower than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.01).The improvement degree of endometrial thickness,endometrial type A rate,ovulation rate and pregnancy rate in the treatment group on HCG day was higher than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).Conclusion:1 Compared with western medicine alone,the kidney tonifying and regulating regimen combined with western medicine can effectively treat infertility of PCOS.2 Compared with the simple western medicine plan,TCM tonifying kidney and regulating cycle combined with western medicine to promote drainage shows a better performance in improving patients’ TCM symptoms,and to a certain extent,increases endometrial thickness,improves endometrial morphology,promotes follicular discharge,and increases ovulation rate and pregnancy rate.3 Traditional Chinese medicine tonifying kidney and regulating cycle combined with western medicine to promote drainage can regulate the level of sex hormones and synergistically promote follicular development and excretion.4 For infertility patients with polycystic ovary syndrome,the combination of traditional Chinese medicine tonifying kidney and regulating cycle with western medicine to promote drainage is a safe,effective and worthy of promotion. |
