Observation On The Efficacy Of Bimin Tablets Combined With Auricular Acupoint Pressing Beans In The Treatment Of Allergic Rhinitis (lung Qi Deficiency And Cold Type) In Childre

Objective:The aim of this study is to observe the clinical efficacy of the combination of Biminpian Decoction and auricular acupressure with ear seeds in the treatment of children with lung qi deficiency and cold-type allergic rhinitis(AR).The study will also compare the efficacy of this combination with the use of Biminpian Decoction and Western medicine alone.The objective is to verify the advantages of the combination of internal and external traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of children with allergic rhinitis,providing objective evidence for clinical practice,and optimize treatment strategies.Methods:This study collected 75 cases of children with lung qi deficiency and cold-type allergic rhinitis who met the inclusion criteria in the outpatient and inpatient departments of the First Affiliated Hospital of Hunan University of Chinese Medicine.Four cases were excluded,and a total of 71 cases were included.They were randomly divided into groups A,B,and C according to a random number table.Group A was treated with oral administration of Biminpian Decoction and auricular acupressure with ear seeds,Group B was treated with oral administration of Biminpian Decoction alone,and Group C was treated with nasal corticosteroids.The treatment course was one month,and the clinical efficacy was evaluated by observing the changes in symptom scores,TCM syndrome scores,and quality of life scores before and after treatment.Results:(1)Analysis of effective rate:the total effective rate of Group A was 95.7%,that of Group B was 87.5%,and that of Group C was 79.2%;(2)Analysis of symptom scores:all three groups had improved symptoms(p<0.05),and the efficacy of Group A was superior to that of the other two groups in improving nasal congestion,runny nose,and nasal signs(p<0.05).The efficacy of the three groups was similar in improving nasal itching and sneezing(P>0.05).(3)Analysis of TCM syndrome scores:all three groups had an improvement effect on the TCM syndrome of the children(P>0.05),and the clinical efficacy of Group A was superior to that of Group B and Group C(P>0.05).(4)Analysis of quality of life scores:all three groups had an improvement effect on the quality of life of the children(P>0.05),and the efficacy of Group A was superior to that of Group B and Group C(P>0.05).Conclusion:The combination of Biminpian Decoction and auricular acupressure with ear seeds can relieve symptoms and signs of children with lung qi deficiency and cold-type allergic rhinitis,improve TCM syndrome,and improve their quality of life.The efficacy is superior to that of treatment with Biminpian Decoction or nasal corticosteroids alone,and is worthy of clinical promotion.
