Objective: Through the observation of Qufeng Kening Decoction in the treatment of patients with cough variant asthma(acute syndrome of Fengsheng contracture),we compared the changes in efficacy and safety observation indicators before and after treatment, verified its clinical efficacy and medication safety, provided a basis for the clinical application and further implementation of this prescription, and provided a new reference for the follow-up treatment of cough variant asthma. Methods: From January 2022 to January 2023,a total of 60 patients with CVA severe contracture in the inpatient and outpatient departments of the Pulmonary Disease Department of Hengyang Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital were selected and randomly divided into two groups. The control group was treated with basic treatment(budesonide and formoterol powder inhalation(Xinbi Kedu Bao)),and the treatment group was treated with combination of basic treatment and Qufeng Kening Tang, with 30 patients in each group, and the treatment course was2 weeks. Before and after recording the changes in two sets of clinical manifestations, including traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score,LCQ score,VAS score, cough severity score(CET),pulmonary function PEF,and other detection indicators, the system uses SPSS 25.0 software to statistically analyze the collected data and evaluate the efficacy and safety. Results: 1.Before treatment, compare the general information(gender, age, and course of disease)of two groups of patients, and use SPSS 25.0 software to calculate the gender P-value=0.602>0.05,age P-value=0.985>0.05,and course P-value=0.651>0 The difference was not significant and was comparable;2.Comparing the clinical efficacy after treatment,it was found that the total effective rate of the treatment group was 93.33%;The total effective rate of the control group was 83.33%;According to the Mann Whitney rank sum test analysis, the Mann Whitney rank sum test=319.5,P=0.044<0.05,and the average rank of the treatment group=26.15 < the average rank of the control group=34.85,indicating that the treatment group is significantly better than the control group;3.Comparing the data scores of the two groups after treatment,it was found that the traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score,CET score, and VAS score were lower than the control group, and the LCQ score of the treatment group was higher than the control group. The improvement of PEF ability in the treatment group was higher than the control group, indicating that the treatment group’s efficacy, symptom relief, and improvement of lung ventilation function were better than the control group. After statistical analysis,P<0.05,indicating statistical significance;During the treatment period, neither group experienced any adverse reactions. Conclusion: Qufeng Kening Tang has a significant therapeutic effect on the treatment of acute syndrome of CVA Fengsheng contracture, which can significantly alleviate patients’ traditional Chinese medicine symptoms, reduce CET and VAS scores, increase LCQ scores, enhance PEF,improve lung ventilation function, improve survival and quality of life.During the treatment period, there were no adverse reactions, which is safe and reliable. This provides a basis for promoting the treatment of acute syndrome of CVA Fengsheng contracture with this formula, and also provides a reference for clinical CVA treatment direction.
