Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Chronic Respiratory Failure With Lung And Kidney Deficiency And Phlegm-heat Obstructing The Lungs With Modified Shengmai Xianxiong Decoctio

Objective: To study the safety and effectiveness of Jiawei Shengmai Xianxiong Decoction in treating the syndrome of deficiency of lung and kidney and phlegm-heat obstructing lung in chronic respiratory failure by randomized controlled trial.Methods: According to the inclusion criteria,60 patients with chronic respiratory failure syndrome belonging to deficiency of phlegm and heat obstructing lung and kidney in respiratory department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Hunan University of Chinese Medicine were collected and divided into observation group and control group according to the principle of random grouping,with 30 cases in each group,Among them,the control group was given conventional treatment,including general treatment oxygen bronchodilator anti-infection treatment and other symptomatic supportive treatment;the observation group was additionally given Jiawei Shengmai Xianxiong Decoction orally on the basis of the control group.The treatment cycle was 7 days,and the patients’ conditions were evaluated after one treatment cycle,The evaluation included TCM syndrome score white blood cell count(WBC)interleukin-6(IL-6)hypersensitive C-reactive protein(CRP)procalcitonin(PCT)Oxygen partial pressure(PO2)carbon dioxide partial pressure(PCO2),forced expiratory volume in 1 second(FEV1).Results :(1)Analysis of general data: Before treatment,there was no statistical difference between the observation group and the control group in gender composition,age,TCM syndrome score,WBC,CRP,PCT,Pa O2,Pa CO2,FEV1.(2)Comparison of the efficacy of TCM syndrome: TCM syndrome score of the two groups decreased after treatment compared with that before treatment,but TCM syndrome score of the observation group decreased more significantly compared with the control group.There was a statistical difference in clinical efficacy between the two groups(P<0.05),and the clinical efficacy of the observation group was better than that of the control group.(3)Observation indicators: before and after the comparative treatment,the WBC CRP The level of Pa O2 Pa CO2 FEV1 was different between the observation group and the control group after treatment(P<0.05),and the clinical effect of the observation group was better than that of the control group.Conclusion :(1)Jiawei Shengmai Xianxiong Decoction combined with conventional Western medicine treatment can improve the symptoms of patients with chronic respiratory failure syndrome of lung and kidney deficiency,phlegm-heat obstructing lung.(2)Jiawei Shengmai Xianxiong Decoction combined with conventional Western medicine treatment can reduce the inflammation of patients with chronic respiratory failure syndrome of lung and kidney deficiency,phlegm-heat obstructing lung,improve the patients’ ventilation,and relieve carbon dioxide(CO2)retention.(3)Jiawei Shengmai Xianxiong Decoction has good safety for patients with chronic respiratory failure syndrome of deficiency of lung and kidney and phlegm-heat obstructing lung...
