| Objective: Based on the theory of "the body and spirit is an organic whole",the aim of this study was to deliberate the curative effect of "Physical and mental co-treatment" through by sorting and analyzing the clinical data of thumbtack needle and Bushen Shugan Decoction in treating the people with polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS).On the one hand it can demonstrating the advantages of traditional Chinese medicine in treating diseases,on the other hand evaluating the clinical value of the theory of " the body and spirit is an organic whole ".In order to provide new treatment ideas for PCOS and improve the clinical treatment efficiency.Methods: Selecting sixty-six patients who visited the gynecology clinic of the Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from September 2021 to June 2022 that diagnosed as PCOS and kidney deficiency and liver depression.33 patients were included in the control group and 33 patients in the treatment group.The control group treated with drugs such as Bushen Shugan Decoction and Diane-35.Meanwhile,the treatment group added thumbtack needle on the basis of the control group.At last,30 patients in the control group and 29 patients in the treatment group finished the study.After three treatment cycles,compared the changes of BMI,TCM syndrome score,serum sex hormone level(E2,LH,FSH,LH/FSH,T,DHEAS,SHGB,FAI%),SAS anxiety scale score before and after treatment.After the treatments,continue to follow up the menstrual cycle of patients for three months.Finally,using SPSS25.0 software to statistically analyze the collected data and draw conclusions.Results:1.Body mass index(BMI): The BMI of the patients in both groups decreased compared within the group,but the change in the treatment group was more significant than that in the control group(P< 0.05).2.TCM syndrome score: TCM syndrome score of patients in both groups decreased,but the treatment group improved TCM syndrome score better(P< 0.05).3.Serum sex hormone levels: After treatment,the values of LH,FSH,LH/FSH,T,DHEAS,SHGB,and FAI% in the two groups were significantly different from those before treatment(P< 0.05).There was a significant difference in the improvement of T and FAI% between the two groups(P< 0.05).4.SAS anxiety scale score: The SAS scores of patients in both groups decreased after treatment,but the treatment group was better than the control group in relieving anxiety(P< 0.05).5.Comprehensive curative effect: In this study,the total effective in the control group was 83.33%,and the total effective rate of the treatment group was 93.10%.There was statistically significant difference between the two groups(P< 0.05).6.Follow-up menstrual status: The patients in both groups were followed up for menstruation after 3 months of treatment.the normal rate of menstrual cycle in the treatment group was 55.17%,and the rate of control group was 36.7%.But the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion:1.Analysis from the perspective of modern medicine,the combination of thumbtack needle and medication had a significant increase in improving BMI and serum sex hormone levels in patients with PCOS compared to medication therapy alone.2.Analysis from the perspective of Chinese traditional medicine,the combination of acupuncture and medicine had a more obvious effect on improving the TCM syndrome score of PCOS patients with kidney deficiency and liver stagnation syndrome.Besides it was safe,convenient and non-toxic.3.Physical and mental co-treatment can not only improve clinical symptoms and the test results of laboratory,but also alleviate anxiety in patients with PCOS.It has good clinical effect,and is worthy of further clinical promotion. |
