Under the deployment of the national new medical reform,a number of policies and measures have been issued to promote social medical management.Private hospitals are the fields with heavy assets and long investment return cycle,and there are some problems such as low market occupancy rate of private hospitals,unbalanced discipline construction and development,unreasonable talent structure and hidden medical quality.How can private hospitals operate well and achieve the required social and economic benefits? It is a difficult question for all managers to ponder.Opportunities and challenges coexist.The top-level strategic design of hospitals plays a decisive role in restraining the lifeblood of private hospitals.The main research content of this paper is based on the logical structure of "question raising,problem analyzing and problem solving",taking Chengdu A Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine as the research object,comprehensively applying relevant theories of competition strategy,and evaluating the business development status of Chengdu A Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine through literature research,interview survey,qualitative analysis and comparative analysis.To study and analyze the problems faced by private hospitals in the formulation and implementation of competitive strategy,and put forward targeted competitive strategy plans.The key problems to be solved specifically are as follows: The first is to find out the opportunities and threats of the external macro environment analysis,the internal environment analysis to find out the advantages and disadvantages,the hospital after SWOT analysis of the intention of alternative competitive strategy,QSPM analysis tool for quantitative evaluation of alternative competitive strategy,the optimal strategy is differentiation strategy;The second is to meet different levels of medical needs through differentiation strategy.The strategy implementation path includes characteristic specialty development,TCM brand service,medical care industry expansion,marketing and publicity,talent team construction,etc.Third,A Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine is positioned as a hospital of "service,characteristic and high quality".The overall goal is to build it into a "well-known brand hospital of traditional Chinese medicine" in Chengdu,and the financial operation goal is to increase its annual income by more than 5%.The fourth is to put forward the safeguard measures of competitive strategy,from the optimization of organizational structure and equity allocation,guarantee of medical quality and strengthen hospital culture,risk control and other aspects,to enhance the comprehensive competitiveness of private hospitals.
