A Study Of The Auxiliary Words In Chats In Chinese

Chats in Chinese is a classic Beijing Mandarin textbook in the Meiji period,reflecting the basic appearance of Beijing dialect at the end of the 19 th century.The particle system of Chats in Chinese is different from the particle system of A Dream of Red Mansions and The Tale of Heroic Sons and Daughters written in Beijing dialect,and it is also different from the particle system of modern Chinese.We study its auxiliary word system,in order to get a glimpse of the general situation of Beijing dialect auxiliary word system at the end of the 19 th century.Using the method of quantitative statistics and qualitative analysis,this paper investigates the syntactic functions and grammatical meanings of four types of auxiliary words,including dynamic auxiliary words,structural auxiliary words,ratio auxiliary words and enumeration auxiliary words.The full text is divided into six chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,expounding the background of the thesis,research significance,status quo,object,purpose and method,and defines and classifies the particle system of Chats in Chinese.The second chapter,the third chapter,the fourth chapter and the fifth chapter respectively describe and analyze the main members of the dynamic particle,structural particle,ratio particle and enumeration particle in Chats in Chinese,and compare them with modern Chinese.A comparative analysis of the related auxiliary words was carried out.The sixth chapter concludes,on the basis of the analysis of the previous chapters,summarizes the general situation of the particle system of Chats in Chinese.
