A Study Of Zhou Yue’s Calligraphy:also On The Evolution Of Calligraphy History In The Early Song Dynasty

Zhou Yue was a famous calligrapher in the Renzong period of the Northern Song Dynasty.At that time,the Imperial Academy of Calligraphy was famous for his books.He compiled the "Shuyuan" and changed the style of writing.Adam yuet chau has been gallery showing off at that time,actually also involved in the currents of the change of Chinese calligraphy,but his accepting history gallery in the late northern song dynasty was assailed,presents the different with before,the calligraphy is refers to as "vulgar",gradually fade out shoka vision,he Shi Wenxian in song dynasty people think of the book is no longer in the original position,it is under the evaluation before and after contrast,The significance and value of the history of calligraphy highlighted by Zhou Yue is also worth further study and analysis.Zhou Yue’s bibliography can be roughly divided into two parts: one is his calligraphy practice,the other is his calligraphy treatise.The former,reflected in his patriarchal jin and Tang dynasty learning process and he left behind art works;The latter is his book Garden.The main ideas and the key points of this paper are: First of all,introduce Adam yuet chau time background and his experience of life and the eunuch,secondly,combing Adam yuet chau calligraphy circulating condition and the theory writings of remains,third,combined with past dynasties book theorists and accept different history of changes to the evaluation of Adam yuet chau,analyze the period gallery evolution,summarizes Adam yuet chau in period plays the continuity of function and value of Chinese calligraphy,This is also the focus of this paper.Finally,the author makes an objective and pertinent evaluation of Zhou Yue’s position in the history of calligraphy,and analyzes its enlightenment to the development of contemporary calligraphy,in order to help his calligraphy creation practice and theoretical research.
