Thailand has been infected with the coronavirus since March 2021,and students have been unable to return to school.Online learning has become a new form of learning between teachers and students as a result of the rapid development of mobile Internet and intelligent technology,and online teaching has emerged in line with The Times’ trend.In this setting,Chinese learning software appears in an infinite stream,attracting an increasing number of people’s attention in order to encourage the advancement of Chinese education as a foreign language.This paper uses literature research,questionnaire survey,and personal interview to gain a better understanding of whether Thai college students use Chinese apps,which Chinese apps they use,and their demand for learning Chinese,as well as to investigate how mobile Internet can help promote the development of Chinese teaching.Students studying Chinese at Prince Of Songkhla University,including Phuket,Trang,and Surat Thani.Firstly,the basic situation of college students using mobile learning software in the three campuses is obtained in the form of questionnaire.In short,Thai college students prefer to use learning software with strong instrumentality,practicability and operability,and pay attention to the learning content and function design of the software.Secondly,analyze the characteristics of the Chinese APPs used by Thai students in the questionnaire one by one,and then briefly introduce three commonly used Chinese APPs.Finally,three views are put forward on the use of mobile Internet to promote the development of teaching Chinese as a foreign language:software companies can add Chinese professional knowledge to business training,explore the learning experience of software users,and strengthen contact with Chinese professionals,build a solid backing of back-office network information technology,and improve the types of software learning content and the construction of service functions;Chinese learners themselves should be good at using the existing valuable mobile learning resource library,and cultivate diligent and independent learning good habits of lifelong learning;Chinese teachers should store solid knowledge of mobile Internet,improve teachers’ comprehensive professional quality,and provide students with highquality teaching services.
