A Study On Chinese Translation Strategies Of Scientific English From The Perspective Of Translators’ Subjectivity

The Marine Corps is the main combat force of the U.S.military overseas,whose development will determine the strategic focus of the U.S.army overseas in the future.Nowadays,China’s national defense and military construction is standing at a new historical starting point,so that learning from the experience and achievements of the Marine Corps is a great promotion for China’s strong military construction.In view of the differences between the English and Chinese,the translator is guided by the translator’s subjectivity theory in the process of translating 2019 U.S.Marine Corps Aviation Plan,specifically combining the subjective initiative,passivity and personality of the theory.The translator uses the theory to analyze and study the three levels of vocabulary,syntax and discourse,and applies the corresponding translation strategies to improve and perfect the translation.At the lexical level,the translator mainly adopts the lexical conversion method and the terminology annotation method for Chinese translation.At the syntactic level,the long sentence splitting method and the morphological transformation method are used to split and reorganize the translation.At the level of discourse,the translator adopts the logical manifestation method and the reduplication method for articulation and coherence.Based on the translation practice,the translator aims to suggest some guidance on the Chinese translation strategy of aerospace technology English.
