In the late 19th century,with the social turmoil,economic change and industrial development in Russia,visual expression art developed like a kaleidoscope along with the opposition of extreme art forms,forming a variety of artistic expression movements with independent personalities and distinct styles,and supremacism was one of them.The birth of supremacism in Russia pushed the exploration of the feasibility of artistic expression to the extreme,completely abandoned the narrative description of painting objects,removed the complex features of objects,simplified into the ultimate geometric shape,simplified the colors in the picture,focused on the purity of painting forms,committed to creating a new order of the art world.Supremism is an art system created by Malevich himself in 1915,which presents epoch-making supremism theory with brand new artistic language and reflects the modernity of consciousness.Its emergence has a strong influence on European painting and a huge impact on the art world,providing new content for the design concept of Bauhaus and breaking the barrier between art and technology.People’s aesthetic habits have been completely changed.Based on the historical background of the Russian October Revolution,this paper takes Malevich’s works in the period of supremacism as the research object,explores his painting concept,emotional expression,color concept,artistic thought and other contents through the theoretical clues provided for the formation and development of the supremacist painting language,and analyzes the cultural connotation contained in the artistic creation of this period.And an important influence on the European art world.The first chapter takes the origin and development of Russian abstract painting as the starting point and analyzes the development course of abstract painting through the artistic characteristics of different painters.The second chapter takes Malevich’s exploration of non-figurative painting as the starting point,explains the characteristics of Malevich’s works under the influence of modern art style,and the germination of supremacism in non-figurative painting.The third chapter,from the plane geometry,composition,color use as the starting point,mainly analyzes the supremacist painting language characteristics;Chapter four analyzes the influence of the modernist paintings on the later generations.Finally,through the study of Malevich’s supremacist painting language,the author records his own painting creation process and discusses the influence of supremacist painting form on creation.
