| Developing Chinese is a set of teaching materials for Chinese as a foreign language,which is mainly used by long-term students studying Chinese in China.Due to its outstanding advantages and high quality,the textbook has been favored by colleges and universities since its publication,and has received wide attention in the academic field,and the relevant research results are encouraging.According to different language skills,Developing Chinese can be divided into five series: Comprehensive Course,Oral Course,Listening Course,Reading Course and Writing Course.The Comprehensive Course textbook is the main textbook,and the Oral,Listening,Reading and Writing series are the branch textbooks.The level of parallelism between main teaching material and branch teaching materials has a direct impact on teaching activities.So,this paper selects the Advanced Ⅱ series of Developing Chinese as the research object,and carries out a series of statistics on this series of textbooks from four perspectives: topics,vocabulary,language points and practices.Base on quantity statistics,this paper uses quantitative analysis and contrast analysis,according to the formula x=|a-b| and main materials on literary texts,in turn,calculated each branch relative parallelism in various aspects,and analyzed the phenomena and reasons of textbooks’ parallelism.The research shows that the Advanced Ⅱ series of teaching materials of Developing Chinese have the advantages of high coverage of topics to the outline,reasonable distribution of vocabulary and language points,sufficient amount of exercises,diverse question types,etc.Its content arrangement is of high quality and worthy of reference,but there is still room for improvement.Based on these,this paper obtains the enlightenment of compiling Chinese teaching materials. |
