Research On The Jin Department Of The Tang Dynast

In Tang Dynasty,the Treasury Section was subordinate to the Ministry of Revenue.Treasury Section started in the Han Dynasty and went through the Wei,Jin,Southern and Northern Dynasties.In the Tang Dynasty,the Treasury Section was a subordinate organization of the Ministry of Revenue.It was in charge of the internal and external collections of documents and accounts,and issued its thin collars according to its control.The cashier of Taifu Temple,the payment of salaries of princes and officials,the supply of clothes for official servants,and the receipt of materials from the central temple supervisor are controlled by the Treasury Section;At the same time,the Department of Finance prepares the financial expenditure plan every year with the cooperation of the Treasury Section.In the early Tang Dynasty,the Treasury Section played an important role in the operation of the national financial system.In the middle and late Tang Dynasty,with the development of the financial system and the change of the political situation,the functions tended to weaken,but the organization of the Treasury Section always existed.In the Tang Xuanzong period,after a series of financial reforms,the functions of the Treasury Section gradually tended to be relaxed after the promulgation of the "Changxingzhi".With Di Wuqi as an envoy of the Treasury Section,the trend of financial professionalization has been further strengthened.While the Department of the Treasury Section has become a department with less functions,the officials of the Treasury Section mostly appear as additional titles of envoys or as judges of other departments.The purpose of this article is to study the function,operation system and the development of the entire department of the Treasury Section,and to discuss the appointment of the officials of the Treasury Section in the Tang Dynasty,and to try to explore the functional officials of the Treasury Section from a micro perspective,and to explore the position of the Treasury Section in different periods of the financial development of the Tang Dynasty from a macro perspective.The first chapter discusses the origin of the Treasury Section and the evolution of previous dynasties before the Tang Dynasty,and explores the origin of the functions of the Treasury Section in the Tang Dynasty.The second chapter discusses the functions of the Treasury Section in the Tang Dynasty through the official historical materials and the unearthed Turpan documents,combined with the research achievements of the former scholars,and analyzes the reasons for the repeated establishment and idleness of the Treasury Section in the middle of the Tang Dynasty.The third chapter studies the post holding forms of the officials of the Treasury Section in different periods after the Treasury Section was idle in the middle and late Tang Dynasty.At the end of the article,it summarizes the functions and the development of the officials of the Treasury Section throughout the Tang Dynasty.
