| Yi xue Qi meng(Enlightenment Book for the Yi Studies)is a masterpiece of Zhu Xi who constantly compromises the essence of Yi-ology,and then comprehensively explains and constructs his image-numerology system.However,the Yi xue Qi meng is famous for the book of image-numerology outline,and there is still room for improvement,resulting in a deviation in the understanding of later scholars.Xiong He is a disciple of Zhu Xi’s three disciples.He was in the Song and Yuan Dynasties when Zhu Xi’s Yi-ology was deeply developed.Out of the respect and maintenance of Zhu Xi’s image-numerology Yi-ology,he wrote Wu xuan Yi xue Qi meng Tu zhuan Tong yi(A General Meaning on the Enlightenment Book for the Yi Studies)(hereinafter referred to as Tu zhuan Tong yi)to supplement Yi xue Qi meng.The Tu zhuan Tong yi is roughly in the order of the four chapters of Yi xue Qi meng,Xiong He constructs his own image-numerology Yi learning ideological system with the theme of “Yin and Yang advance and retreat” through the systematic interpretation and elucidation of Yi xue Qi meng.First of all,Xiong He takes Yi xue Qi meng Heluo-ology and priori learning as the object of interpretation,revealing the intrinsic thought of the intersection of Yin and Yang.Heluo and priori schema are Zhu Xi’s image-numeration interpretation of the principle of Yin and Yang of Taiji,which plays an important role in Zhu Xi’s image-numerology.Xiong He expanded the theoretical connotation of Zhu Xi’s natural Yi of heaven and earthand deepened the understanding of Yi Dao Yin and Yang through the interpretation of Han Confucianism’s thought of “sun and moon are Yi”.Xiong He then used the method of “intersection of yin and yang” to integrate Former Heaven eight trigrams map and river map,and used the theory of “Shan tian Liang di” to integrate Former Heaven eight trigrams map and Luo Chart.This is a new way and new thinking to discuss the theory of “drawing trigrams based on the River Map and Luo Chart” in Yi xue Qi meng.Then,Xiong He revealed the way of Yin and Yang advancing and retreating behind it through the in-depth elucidation of the mathematical or implication of the priori square circle map.Secondly,Xiong He discussed the meaning of Yin and Yang in the postnatal image-number learning by elucidating the postnatal learning of Yi xue Qi meng.Xiong He inherited Zhu Xi’s theory of the consistency of the image and number of the former heaven and later heaven,explained the specific evolution process of the former heaven to the later heaven,aiming to prove the legitimacy of Later Heaven of the eight trigrams.On the basis of integrating the former and later heaven eight trigrams map,Xiong He used the method of “Yang Yi Yin Er” to calculate the number of postnatal hexagrams,and deduced the four images of River Map through the process of removing one and two of the number of hexagrams,so as to prove that the Later heaven eight trigrams bearing map are consistent with River Map.The hexagram is decomposed into fifteen black and white squares,trying to prove that the Later heaven eight trigrams sequence map is connected with the River Map.Finally,the theory of mutual body that Zhu Xi does not take will connect priori and postnatal Yi-ology.Xiong He’s exposition of postnatal image-number phenomena shows the meaning of integration.Finally,Xiong He inherited and expounded Yi xue Qi meng’s’ s thought of Yi is the book of divination by revealing the way of Yin and Yang in Zhu Xi’s divination.Through the form of drawing patterns,Xiong He mainly discussed the relationship between the number of hanging and rubbing yarrow and the hexagrams in the three changes from bottom to top,and discussed the law of Yin and Yang advance and retreat in the three changes number of hanging and rubbing yarrow,and discussed the meaning of virtual one and hanging one.These are mainly the inheritance and new interpretation of Zhu Xi’s divination.For Zhu Xi’s method of change,Xiong He explored the method of taking images by King Wen and Duke Zhou on the basis of Zhu Xi,which enriched Zhu Xi’s view of Yi images.Xiong He advocated that there are images in hexagrams,and there are changes in images,he pointed out that the advance and retreat of Yin and Yang in the hexagrams were infinite,which could not be absorbed by the hexagrams.Therefore,the image elements were injected into Zhu Xi’s method of change and occupation,emphasizing the influence of the hexagrams and the virtue of the diviners on the result of occupation,supplementing and developing Zhu Xi’s theory of change and occupation.In general,Xiong He’s Tu zhuan Tong yi takes the advance and retreat of Yin and Yang as the main purpose,and takes the integration of image and number as the main meaning.Through the way of explaining“Yi” by picture and clarifying “Yi” by number,he makes a comprehensive annotation and elucidation of Yi xue Qi meng.On the basis of inheriting Zhu Xi,Tu zhuan Tong yi shows a certain degree of originality,which enriches and develops the connotation of Zhu Xi’s image-numerology to a great extent,and also provides some new ideas for the internal integration of Heluo and the priori and the postnatal Yi learning.Although the book has some shortcomings,it cannot deny its value. |
