The field of contemporary guzheng performance art is experiencing rapid growth,with composers continuously exploring and refining techniques to enhance the emotional expression in guzheng music.As a result,numerous outstanding contemporary guzheng works have emerged,offering significant value for research.Among these works is the classic guzheng piece,"Yu Guo Xi Shi." This study focuses on investigating the performance techniques employed in "Yu Guo Xi Shi" by analyzing its melodic characteristics and other musical factors.Drawing from personal performance experience,the research delves deeply into the specific application methods of these techniques.The article primarily examines the precautions associated with fast fingerings and hand positioning techniques featured in the piece.Throughout the analysis,particular emphasis is placed on selecting stable and reliable performance techniques that enable performers to convey the music’s essence smoothly and accurately while maintaining a relaxed state.Proficiency in performance techniques ensures a seamless and natural performance,but it is crucial to avoid inappropriate performance processing that may compromise the faithful portrayal of the musical imagery.Hence,the author shares their own interpretative insights on the performance processing of the piece,aiming to provide valuable guidance for other guzheng performers.
