Compilation And Research Of Newly Discovered Bronze Inscription

There are a large number of personal names in the bronze inscriptions of Shang and Zhou Dynasties,which are of great significance to the study of related historical issues.In recent years,with the development of archaeological excavations,a large number of gold and literary materials have appeared.Therefore,it is very necessary to sort out the name of the new Shang Zhou Jinwen.This paper is mainly divided into the upper and the lower two parts.The first part is the sorting out of the names of the new Jinwen(金文).From September 2004 to June 2022,the names of the newly published inscriptions on Shang and Zhou bronzes published in periodicals,newspapers and websites were collected and sorted out.A brief introduction is made to each recipient based on the contents of the inscription and relevant information,and the description of the location of the artifact is attached to the profile of the person for the convenience of scholars.The names of the new gold text are arranged according to the first stroke,and the index of the first stroke of the new gold text is attached at the end.The next chapter is a study of the names of the newly published Jinwen.It can be divided into two parts:first,there are defects in the existing classification of Jinwen names,which cannot cover all the forms of Jinwen names.Therefore,on the basis of sorting out the names of newly published Jinwen people,they were divided into five categories:private names(私名),general names(通名),day names(日名),posthumous names(諡号),and others(其他类).The second is the study of the names of people and day names(日名)in the Shang Dynasty.Through a comprehensive analysis of the previous research results on the source of nativity,we can see that the source of nativity in the Shang Dynasty is mainly solved from the two directions of marriage relationship research and the limitation of the selection range.However,the name of the day(日名)is the day instead of birth,so it would be difficult to solve the source of the day name(日名)in the Shang Dynasty through the study of marriage relationship.At present,the academic circles basically agree with Li Xueqin’s"divination theory",(卜选说)but direct divination cannot explain the phenomenon of unequal ratio of Jin,Wen,Japanese(日名)and Japanese(日干),so many argue that before divination,the scope should be defined or a principle should be formulated to limit the divination.By analyzing the distribution of all the datas of Shang,Zhou,Jin wen in the ten stems by period,the paper finds that the ratio of odd and even datas in the datas of merchants in the late Shang is 1:6.8;In addition,in both odd and even days,there are more than half of the dealers’preferred names.From the handed down documents,it can be found that the difference between the rigid(刚)(odd)(奇)and soft(柔)(even)(偶)days is related to the level of status and position as well as the difference between the lawful and the ordinary.The late Shang oracle bone inscriptions and Jin texts related to"Dazi"(大子)are all even day stem names(偶数日干),and"meson"(介子)related day stem names are strange days stem names(奇数日干).This shows that in the late Shang dynasty,the legitimate state had an even number of days and the common state had an odd number of days.Now that it has been shown that there are differences between sons and daughters,there should also be differences between sons(嫡)and daughters(庶).In Jin wen of the late Shang Dynasty,"Da Zi"is the eldest son of entropy,whose name is within the range of B and D.In addition,according to the temple name of the Shang King in the late Shang Dynasty and the records of the Grand Historian·The Family of the Duke of Qi,all the names used were Yi or Ding,and according to the succession system,the users of these names were the eldest son of the state.This shows that in the late Shang Dynasty,there were also differences in the use of the name of the sun stem,namely,the eldest son of the entropy used more than B and D.According to statistics,the probability of the Genghis date in Wuding period was as high as 95.24%.It is hard to argue that the results are not under deliberate control and selection.To sum up,the day names of the merchants in the late Shang Dynasty were first differentiated by the date of the entropy of the state,namely,the date of the entropy of the state,the date of the state,and the date of the state,the date of the state,and the date of the state.The final name of the sun is then determined by divination.However,such selection results are not only based on providence,but also mixed with human intervention and choice.
