Confucianism began in China’s pre-qin,experienced the song and Ming neo-confucianism developed into a new confucianism.At present,China attaches great importance to the study of Confucianism,and the development of Confucianism is no longer confined to China.At present,all countries in the world pay more and more attention to culture.Confucianism is an important part of global culture and plays an important role in the development of global culture.In recent years,the number of scholars who study Confucianism in the United States has been increasing year by year.The Confucian schools in North America mainly include the following two schools: "Hawaiian Confucianism" and "Boston Confucians Confucianism".This article focuses on the "Boston Confucians" to carry out a comprehensive study.The main representatives of the "Boston Confucians" include such famous philosophers as Tu Weiming,Robert Cummings Neville and Bai Shilang."Boston Confucians" advocates the communication of Confucianism with other cultures and ideas of the world through the form of dialogue,so that Confucianism can better adapt to the development of current society.Whether or not Confucianism is a religion has also become the focus of the issue,"Boston Confucians" that Confucianism is not a religion,does not have the form of religion,but has a religious,this is "Boston Confucians" the essence of thought.This shows that strengthening the "Boston Confucians" is of great practical significance to the study.In this paper,first of all,the connotation of the "Boston Confucians" proposition is expounded,including the research status at home and abroad and research purposes and significance;On this basis,the author analyzes the modern theory reconstruction of Confucianism by Robert Cummings Neville and Tu Weiming,especially the concept of "rite" in Robert Cummings Neville,"semiotics of language" and Tu Weiming’s three confucianism theories Then the Comparative Study of Confucianism,Christianity and multi-religion,systematic analysis of the religious factors of Confucianism and its theoretical significance,transcendent theology and Confucianism,Christianity and multi-religion influence each other;At last,the author focuses on the contemporary cultural significance of the study of "Boston Confucians",and discusses the transformation of Confucianism in the new period,the way to construct thinking and the development of Confucianism.
