The cultivation of Larsen Freeman’s Three-dimensional Dynamic Grammar View is a key proposition in the reform of basic foreign language curricula.Researchers and front-line educators from different countries have begun trying to accomplish this purpose in the second language classes through improving teaching design. However,in the existing teaching practice, there are phenomena such as "unscientific steps in instructional design, the reproduction and assimilation of a huge amount of knowledge as a guide for teaching, lack of goal orientation and fragmentation of teaching activities",which,to varying degrees, still stagnant within the traditional instructional design paradigm. In order to implement the training purpose of three-dimensional dynamic grammar and improve students’ core literacy, the reverse instructional design model based on big concepts and evaluation first will be an optimization direction, which effectively integrates the core content of the discipline through big concepts, clarifying teaching design clues, generating teaching objectives with the transfer dimension as the core, developing a quantitative evaluation system based on the objectives, and focusing on the seven elements of WHERETO teaching and learning activities.Such a new teaching design aimed at reordering the teaching and learning sequence and building a three-stage design framework of "setting desired goals-finalizing assessment evidence-presumed teaching activities" can stimulate students’ deep understanding of the target content. This study focuses on reconstructing grammar instructional design patterns.Based on existing theories and relevant practical achievements, this study integrates the concept, essential features and framework of backward design, utilizing the "one core, four layers and four wings" proposed by the "Chinese College Entrance Examination Evaluation System",and focusing on the five high frequency categories of high-level thinking, such as analytical thinking, evaluation thinking, critical thinking, linear thinking, and reflective thinking, and conduct accurate hierarchical evaluation evidence setting to construct a strategy for the effective integration of the cultivation of three-dimensional dynamic grammatical view.To verify the effectiveness of the strategy, the author applies the improved strategy to real classes, conducts questionnaires,semi-structured interviews and grammar tests on students, analyses the suspicions and focus of students’ general responses through experimental data, and comprehensively evaluates the actual effectiveness of the strategy,so as to clarify the optimization direction of the strategy in the future. The research findings show that the strategy of cultivating students’ three-dimensional dynamic grammatical view based on backward design,to a certain extent, can make up for the shortcomings of traditional teaching in cultivating the three-dimensional dynamic grammatical view, helping students improve their transfer level and cultivating the three-dimensional dynamic grammatical view. The research results are mainly manifested as follows: from the new perspective of reverse teaching design, taking the rules, forms and meanings of target grammar items as comprehensive evaluation criteria, taking understanding six dimensions as evaluation coding reference,a clear and unique reference model of evaluation system is constructed, and teaching activities are attempted from the transfer dimension and other five dimensions, thus developing a set of clear and feasible marking reference pattern for cultivating three-dimensional dynamic grammar view and expands the application field of backward design.
