| The international Chinese language academia has always been concerned about the use of teaching media language in the classroom as a second language.This paper will take four teachers who teach in the PYP stage MSL classroom of a certain IB school in China as the research object,record the content of each teacher’s 80-minute classroom,and convert it into text form,and use Excel table for labeling and statistics.The observation results show that the proportion of teachers with a certain teaching age in IB schools using English is much higher than that of novice teachers and teachers with the same teaching age in ordinary classrooms,and the frequency of code switching between sentences is also higher.The study found that the cause of this phenomenon is that the educational philosophy of the IB education course is expressed in the perspective of COOK in the second language education,and the environmental factors in the influencing factors of teachers’ teaching media language use have a greater impact on teachers in IB schools.But at the same time,it was found that experienced teachers in IB schools used English excessively.This paper puts forward some targeted suggestions. |
