With the improvement of China’s international status,the influence of Chinese in the world is gradually expanding,and the demand of Chinese learners for Chinese learning resources is increasing.As a network resource,the use of Chinese dictionary APP is not limited by time and space,which provides convenience for second language learners to learn independently.The research on Chinese dictionary APP for second language learners is helpful to assist Chinese learning and promote the internationalization of Chinese.The number of Chinese dictionary apps on the market is limited,and the evaluation among second language learners is polarized.The use function of some dictionaries as mobile phone apps is not satisfactory,and the lack of learning of dictionaries seriously affects users’ psychological expectations and experience.In order to solve this problem,this paper will refer to the macro-user experience framework and micro-dictionary function evaluation framework(hereinafter referred to as macro-framework and micro-framework),and take the introversion Chinese dictionary,foreign learner’s paper Chinese dictionary,English foreign learner’s dictionary and other dictionaries as references,and adopt the methods of macro-qualitative description and micro-quantitative comparison,on the one hand,it will discuss how developers can provide high-quality user experience to ensure sustainable competitive advantage,and how the foreign learner’s Chinese dictionary App can reflect the learning characteristics;On the other hand,according to the dictionary review framework of dictionary reviewers,this paper discusses the functions that standard dictionary apps should have,and comprehensively analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of three mainstream foreign learner’s Chinese dictionary Apps.Through macro-comparative study,the three dictionaries all have distinctive functions,such as flash card function and OCR recognition function of Pleco,vocabulary function of Trainchinese,difficulty grading and HSK grade marking function of JUZI Chinese,etc.Users can select the corresponding dictionary APP according to their needs.In terms of interaction and experience,Pleco and JUZI have good clarity in Chinese and excellent fluency in training Chinese.The retrieval method of Pleco is slightly better than the other two;JUZI Chinese has advantages in layout,typesetting and perception.Through microscopic comparative study,Pleco has the most complete vocabulary,JUZI Chinese is better in terms of entry processing and information display,and JUZI Chinese has the highest total score.According to the comparative analysis,this paper gives corresponding improvement suggestions and optimization strategies: first,pay attention to operation mode: strengthen brand cooperation and strengthen platform drainage;Iteratively update products and gradually enhance competition;Improve the profit model and strengthen customer retention;Second,strengthen the user experience: based on user needs,accurate market positioning;Evaluate their own resources and develop high-quality content;Optimize the functional design and enhance the interactive experience;Third,highlight the learning characteristics: face all students and show the content in layers;Give play to one’s own advantages and pay attention to characteristic content;Pay attention to the trend of media integration and create diversified products.Based on the two core issues of user experience and dictionary learning characteristics,this paper makes a comparative analysis of the basic information and functions of the three dictionaries,so as to help users choose the appropriate dictionary APP according to their needs,and hopes that developers can develop an foreign learner’s Chinese dictionary APP with better quality and better learning characteristics from the perspective of user experience and the evaluation framework of dictionary app.
